Jabra GO 6400 Replacement Wireless Headset for use with GO 6400 Base (Base Not Included)

I cant' live without this ear piece. My dog has chewed up two of them. I was in anguish till the new one showed up. Reliable. Easily transitions from my cell to my office to my computer, and so it goes with me everywhere I go.

No charger comes with this item must spend additional $26 to charge this unit.\Page needs to state that!! 1 star for now no way of knowing how well it works.

I had two of these at different times. Sound quality was fine, however on both units the plastic on the earpiece broke where it connects to the headset, and they would no longer seat securely. The end results was that I had to use them as in-ear only, which was OK for an occasional call, but really not viable for a full day on the phone. For the price, I would have expected much better durability.

Over time, the battery life for any rechargeable item diminishes. Wireless headsets are no exception. Although this new headsets (which in my opinion took an unreasonable amount of time to receive considering it was offered as a prime item) holds a charge roughly 5 times longer than my old one, it also has about half the range. This is a real problem if you are accustomed to using the headset at a distance from the base, you may no longer be able to. Maybe it's just mine but when I called Amazon their only solution was to discount $30 for the inconvenience. I'll be buying a Plantronics headset when this one fails.

I had a 6400 that was seveal years old and the battery would no longer hold a charge. I got this over the ear unit and poped the working part of the headset into my over the ear headset and linked it all up with the base station. Took a few reboots, but now works like a charm.

Delivery was on time and the device worked perfectly. My original headset was no longer holding a charge any longer than 30 minutes.

Use it everyday...replaced one I had for years....and didn't want to buy a whole new unit.

Works as advertised.
