Works well with Linux -- sorta
I'm using this with both half-height brackets in a 2U server chasis running Ubuntu 20.04. I'm using the driver from the asix_ax99100_linux repo on GitHub. Follow the driver instructions to compile & install (easy, two commands). Works great.---Update: At Ubuntu 22.04 (perhaps earlier, I didn't test it) the computer hangs on suspend when the driver module for this card is installed. I'm working on a fix for it, but save yourself the trouble: if you're looking for a card to use with your Linux box, find a better-supported one than this.

Works great. Windows 10 compatible.
Put one of these in a high-end machine I built for myself a a year ago. Works great. I could wish for longer cables on the expansion bracket. The short cables forced me to use a slot that otherwise was not the best choice, because the cables would not reach across a graphics card. Windows 10 drivers are provided - and updated drivers are available on the Syba site.

No RS-485 or 422
I ordered this card because I needed an RS-485 controller. When it arrived I learned it is RS-232 only and a separate adapter would be needed for RS-485.

Plug and play
Plug and play with Windows 10. The only way to go to integrate older amateur radio equipment with a modern computer.

Does NOT support 485
This card does NOT support 422 or 485, it only supports 232, although the chip AX99100 supports 485 and the user's manual indicates the ability to switch to 422 and 485 modes. And the driver caused the PC unable to reboot, black screen once past POST. And the driver always disappears randomly. I need to return this and get my money back.
