This recorder is great. Small and simple to use, also comes with multiple functions. Personally prefer to use the voice activated recording, A-B repeat and playback with slow motion. It does help me to review the lectures. Also, the recording files are named after the date and time, its helpful to manage. Last, the battery life is amazing, it can last weeks with a single charge. Anyway, I'm happy with this recorder.

The media could not be loaded. I bought it to record doctor visits/ office meeting. I think I will use it to record my kids’s cute voices in the future haha.It’s very light weight, compact, and very user-friendly, This little device does a great job at blocking out background noise, very good sound quality, amazing battery life as well. It doesn’t have to charge often if you only use it for a while each day. I am guessing twice a week might be enough for me.Audio quality and recording quality are excellent. Overall, this is a great purchase. Highly recommended.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great little pocket recorder, packed with features! I compared this unit to two other similarly priced & "function packed" recorders. The Tschisen was good for notes on the go or hours of lectures. Playback was easy & the menus were easily navigated. I tried recording and play back in various locations both quiet and horrendous background noise. This unit recorded my voice clearly! I admit, I had some difficulties learning to operate some of the more advanced options, due to a few translation errors in the manual. However, after reaching out to the company, they were very quick to reply and most helpful!!! To me this shows that they stand behind their products and that is something rare these days. They told me they are working to update the Manual and to contact them for any other information or questions.All in all I would recommend this recorder over the other two I tested.

It's so tiny and all black that it was difficult to sort out the buttons to use it. The instructions did not help at all. For some folks it might work well for them,but not helpful for me at all to record the meetings I needed to take notes for. Might work great for someone wanting a recorder for music.

The recorder is very tiny and convenient to carry. Its pretty easy to record my thought, lectures and meetings before I forget them. Also, the recorder has lots of practical functions, A-B repeat, repeat in slow motion, voice activated recording, password protection, etc. The battery is good as well, I remember I have charged it only once since I got it. I'm happy with this voice recorder so far.

For those of you who had the same reaction I did to the user manual, here are some basic tips that I figured out by trial and error that hopefully will help.-Long hold menu for menu options-Use previous and next buttons to navigate to desired option-Press play to select desired option-Press stop to exit and go back to previous menu-Inside menu options such as setting the date and time where there are multiple internal navigations within the same menu option, use volume up and volume down buttons to navigate within each sub entryThose were the functions that took trial and error to figure out. Even though the play and record functions are pretty straightforward, I'll list them here:-Press the record button to record-Press the stop button to stop recording-Press the play button to play the recording-to delete, long hold the menu button, use previous and next buttons to navigate down to "delete" or "delete all". Then press play to select delete. Then use previous or next button to select yes. Then click play to complete deletion.-To see a list of recordings, long press the menu button and use the previous and next buttons to navigate down to "file browsing". Press the play button to select and a list of recordings will appear. The title of each recording is the date and time it was recorded. I have not been able to figure out a way to delete a file from that screen. The only way that I have figured out to delete a file is to open the actual file and then long hold the menu button and navigate down to the delete button which you press play to select.I hope someone finds this helpful. Once I figured it out, I was glad I purchased the recorder

I bought this to use on a family trip with my parents where are they took us through their childhood neighborhoods and places they grew up. My brothers and I wanted to record their stories. We’ve been home from the trip for about a month and I still can’t tell if I just recorded over them every day or if I actually have multiple recordings from the trip. It is not at all intuitive to use, and the instructions were useless. The instructions are a tiny piece of paper showing you the name of each button, but not really how to use it. They are clearly transcribed Chinese instructions and don't make much sense. The "auto on" feature (to turn on as soon as talking starts) only worked if there device was right in front of the speaker when they began to speak. It didn't really pick up speech more than one foot away. I am afraid that when all is said and done I will not have recorded as much as the trip as I had hoped. I did not receive it in time to practice with it a lot but as I said, I still can’t figure out whether or not I have multiple recordings that I can scroll through or if I just recorded over my parents every day and I’m left with just one recording. I haven’t been able to figure out yet how to search for multiple recordings. I would look for a different product if I were you. The battery life seems pretty good. But who knows if it was actually on and recording all the hours I thought I WAS recording?!
