This book is excellent for group projects. There ten of us and we each chose a block to make and made ten of them. Our only restrictions were to use white, rather than ivory or cream in the square. In October we put our stacks of blocks around a table and each picked one off of each pile. Then we each assembled and embellished them in our own style, most used a windowpane fabric. They were adorable and a fun project. At the Christmas party we each signed the one that we had done.

I bought both of these books.. Great block book. You can alter the sizes on all the blocks to make it fit anywhere. Also give a quilting map so you can design your own quilts. Really nice book. Got to have books.

I have been checking this book out from the library repeatly, because I love using it. I finally decided I just had to have it. I love the easy piecing instructions and the cute blocks. I've made three wall hangings using the teacup. I also used the crayon block for a internet swap I did. The only word of caution I have is to be very careful with your 1/4 " seams if your blocks have to be exactly a certin size. The book is well worth the investment.

I was very happy with this book and have made several blocks from it for a quilt block exchange. I also have the Block Magic Too book and have used many of the blocks in it to make a great woodland quilt and a quilt for my grandson with all things that go. Each of the blocks can be made in a variety of sizes and they are easy to piece. Love it!

I like the patterns in the book. That said, it was sold as a new book and there was a rip in the cover and someone had used a soup can label as a bookmark inside.

love the easy ideas

I am always looking for different blocks when making projects. This book has given me some fantastic ideas and I have used some of the blocks in my work. A must be for quilters.

Excellent nook

I purchased this because of the reasonable price of the used book. However I am very pleased with the designs and although I have not yet tried any of them, reading through the book gives you many ideas for their use.
