Brilliant box
I needed to do some projects for the company and it works pretty well, I had a little delay on the delivery but apart from that, it does the job pretty well, clear picture of the products, and comes with colour pieces of vinyl to change the background and easy to install and pack away.

Perfect for product photography
Very light making it easy to take everywhere. Also having a bag where everything fits inside. Very easy to build and to take down. The backgrounds that come included are very nice material. Also materiales of the light are good. It’s size is great for product photography.

Not for Hobbiests or those with limited space.
For those with a mild interest in studio photography, know that this kit though technically portable, is more suited to a long term Table Set up as there are a lot of extras that you need to be able to put somewhere/keep clean. If you have limited space and lack a reasonably sized table, it's a bit of a hard sell. This kit is also effectively a dust/fluff magnet (as I've learnt the hard way) so you would want to use it in a very sterile room and keep some tape on hand to collect the loose bits since the white/black plastic backdrops + Lighting provide an OCD level of clarity. In terms of Lighting. It's good and the defusion cloth allows for even lighting/downward shadows. The instructions for it are pretty useless. Either you are going to "set and forget" or use it enough that it becomes second nature. Once set up, it's reasonably stable but it can be a faff to get everything lined up.

Great bit of kit
This photo box functions just like i’d hoped, easy to use and the perfect size. I was worried about the stability but it’s very sturdy. The lead is just about long enough for where i wanted it to go. Bonus points for all the extra coloured background you get.l, i’ve added a photo i’ve created using the white background. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing light box no regrets
Great product. Was hesitant on buying it as it was quite expensive. Had no regrets since getting it. Great brightness, photo quality is really good. Lots of backgrounds. Very sturdy. Would definitely recommend.

And it comes in a handy bag
I needed a light box to take photographs of model soldiers and other small items for use in blog posts and publications. I particularly wanted to be able to get them with even lighting and minimal shadow so I could cut them out in a photo studio software package. This met all of my needs. It assembles quickly and has a variety of coloured inserts to provide backgrounds. The box is made of fabric with stiffening in the sides, top and base. The controls are on the top at the back, and enable you to dim or increase the light from the ring light. Because of the light weight foldable construction the buttons feel unresponsive, but they work fine. There's a circular flap on the top that opens so you can take overhead pictures if needed. Power is from a USB cable to a PC or suitable plug outlet. It is quick and easy to put up and take down, and comes in a neat carry bag, that makes it easy to store. Very pleased with the results so far. My only concern might be that it isn't that robust, given that it is both light weight and foldable, so putting it away and storing it carefully is probably essential. You wouldn't want anyone standing a coffee cup or putting a book on the top of it by mistake.

Not bad for the price, expect to do some photoshopping
Other reviewers are right. The light isn't as bright as it could be and the backdrops can easily slip out of place. However, it's pretty reasonably priced, easy to store and set up, and comes with a good range of coloured backdrops to choose from. As someone who uses this only occasionally, it does the job for me, and provides much better results that trying to photograph products without it. So long as you accept that you'll probably need a little bit of photoshopping (or camera exposure adjustment) to adjust the image for acceptable brightness, then it's not a bad buy in my opinion, and I'm happy enough with it for a budget option.

Good but not without flaws
This is the 4th light box I have purchased over the last 5-6 years each being different in size, make and features. Light boxes do help with taking photos which are destined to be used for website listings etc and sometimes combined with using the appropriate free software I can get some very good results (certainly good enough for my purposes) When choosing a light box the first thing to consider is how big are the items that you generally want to photograph and will they fit comfortably in the light box to allow you to adequately crop the background so your photo focuses on the item rather than showing the sides of the light box or having to crop your subject at the edges to eliminate the side or top of the interior of the light box. If you are photographing similar items continuously this is easy to figure out but if your items vary in size dramatically it’s difficult to choose what is the right size for you most of the time. A smaller light box is obviously easier to work with and obviously takes up less space, if space is an issue and from my point of view it’s easier to control the lighting aspect in a smaller area. This light box is ok without ticking every box it’s very easy to assemble and easy enough to store when you’re not using it although if like me you tend to need to use these every day mine is always ready to use as such a zipped door would be a useful feature as if the box is up there is no way of closing it to prevent dust, dirt, pet hairs and anything else you care to mention from entering into the light box and trust me the most minute of specks of anything will show up on your white background especially when using the macro setting on your camera or phone which then results in endless cleaning making sure that whatever you’re cleaning with doesn’t leave fibres behind or you’ll just start again. You will need to use the light diffuser supplied quite often especially when photographing anything that gives off a reflection otherwise you will see the reflection of the halo of the internal lights on your subject at whatever light setting you are using. The light box is supplied with different colour backgrounds but to be honest I’ve never found anything other than a white background suitable as you want your subject to be the focus of attention not the background colour. The biggest problem with this light box are the cards supplied to fit the inside of the light box there’s quite simply nowhere for them to slot into and they won’t stand up on their own for more than two seconds which means you’ll need to tape them up and sellotape won’t work as a long term solution. I work with jewellery and watches and if side cards aren’t used then I will 100% get reflections from the bubble silver lining on the inside of the box which makes the surface of my items look damaged and pitted which isn't a good look. There is an opening on the top of the light box which is supposedly to allow you to suspend things vertically inside the light box I can’t really see how this is practical well it certainly isn’t practical for me as opening the the flap then let’s in more light and upsets the light balance inside the box and if you’re going to put your hand through the flap or someone else’s hand to photograph something on a wrist or finger for instance then that person would need to hold the steadiest pose possible in order to make the photo work I’m sure someone would find this feature useful but it has little practical use for me. Essentially this is a worthwhile purchase but it’s not perfect by any means but I’ve yet to find any reasonably priced light box that does everything I need it to do but with a few simple modifications this could very easily be achieved.
