Fits the AZ100 Lunar Edition (Costco)
I contacted Celestron to see if this fit my AZ100 Lunar Edition sold only at Costco (received as a gift) and they responded that it would not, but I checked the dimensions and it seemed to be a little big (1/8"). It was on sale so I thought I would give it a try and it fit just fine. You need to remove the plastic shade cover on the big end by just pulling it straight off to reveal the grove in the end of the telescope where the set screws go and screw them all the way in and there you go you can look at the sun and see the black sunspots move! It does have an orangish tint, but you don't notice it when you're looking at the sun.

Safely view the sun
Works good. You can see sun spots just wish you could see solar flares.

Works as intended.
We could look at the sun with it. I wish it had a better way to hold on to the scope instead of velcro straps. I would buy again.

I brought this to a solar eclipse and made the local newspaper
I looked at the sun, it was cool. It works well and it's nice having the safety straps to protect the optics of your telescope and your face

It’s not quite what I expected.
The filter did its job. I looked directly at the Sun and got some stunning views. However, I didn’t expect just a small circle portion of the filter to be the actual “filter” making finding objects difficult. It was a challenge to find and stay focused on the Sun using than small hole.Other than that, it worked as expect.
