Quite a few nice features and easy to transport
I've been a first aid / cpr instructor for a very long time. This is the fourth or fifth style of universal AED trainer (and I’ve also used most big brand-specific trainers) I've used over the years. These are comparatively small, but come in their own individual trainer bags with the adult and child pads and separate connectors, similar to how one finds lots of commercial / public use AEDs. All four AED trainers in their bags fit inside a similar style compact instructor carrier bag for easy transport when you travel-teach. The bags are light and comparatively easy to transport. Also comes with the three necessary AA batteries to operate (trainer units can be used with a power adapter, but it has to be purchased separately and I'm not certain how practical or useful that is).If you teach a variety of populations (even in workplaces) who are going to be in places with various makes and models of AEDs, it's probably best IMHO to train with a universal trainer, rather than a brand-specific one, since often these have some quirks both in how they are set up and consistency of branded verbage used.Adjustable volume and a headphone jack (though, once again, I'm not sure how truly useful that would be). Pause button (very useful for when you want to interrupt a demonstration and restart where you were) and indicator light shows which scenario is playing (there are 5 available to you).English / Spanish switches somewhat awkwardly by holding down the two "switch scenario" buttons on the side of the AED unit. Everything fits inside the zippered pouches; bits and pieces aren't falling out of a built-in pouch on the back of the unit; hinged plastic covers aren't falling off after a student latched them incorrectly, spilling your equipment everywhere.I have a couple of minor issues with the units: first, and most importantly, they should say they are TRAINER UNITS ONLY in much larger, much more immediately obvious letters. I fixed this myself, immediately, when I got my kit ready to use by learners. I don't like the language that these units are "not for clinical use" printed on the front because its meaning is ambiguous, particularly to someone potentially experiencing a medical emergency and in a panic. (It's not that hard to argue that real, possibly life-saving AEDs meant for use by the untrained public are not for strictly-defined "clinical" use, which leads to the ambiguity.)The second issue is that it sure takes awhile for the unit to announce "It is safe to touch..." and then after what seems like an interminable pause, "Begin CPR" with the resumption of the metronome sound. High quality CPR minimizes the length of interruptions to only the length necessary. But all in all, I think these are effective trainers with the right level of sophistication for students without hearing impairments. Trainers with a blinking CPR pacing light and an LCD display should be available for learners with significant hearing impairments.

Nice training set
This is a set of 4 defibrillator training units that come well-packaged within a sturdy outer case and each unit has its own zippered case. The unit has a number of built-in scenarios to ensure the student can correctly utilize a defibrillator under differing conditions. It seems fairly complete (you need to provide your own mannequin.) It seems that the time allowed for executing CPR is a bit too long. Perhaps they should enable a way to vary that time for more realism. Also, while one of the tests was running, I purposely disconnected one of the leads but the unit did not indicate an error condition.

realistic excellent quality training devices!
The kit includes 4 sets of AED trainers and each set comes with everything including the trainer, training pads and connectors. The trainer includes voice prompted instructions which I find easy to understand. The instructions are also available in Spanish. There is no real shock though the actual usage is almost identical to using the real devices. Great for teaching or learning CPR.

Great For Those Looking To Learn Or Brush Up!
So, once upon a time I was trained in CPR, but that was a long time ago. I ordered this AED training kit to brush up on my prior knowledge. I’m not currently looking to become, nor was I ever certified, but this is valuable knowledge to have in case of emergency. This kit is perfect for self-training, or for first-aid squads wanting to train groups of people. For starters, everything included in this kit is of excellent quality. There are a total of four training devices included in this set. Each comes neatly packed in an individual storage pouch. There is a large storage bag included for the storage of all four training devices. The bags are very well-made. Each individual kit comes with an AED training device, an adult-sized electrode pad, a child-sized electrode pad, wire connectors, and three AA batteries. The AED trainers are simple to set up, and work exactly like a real AED. The trainer will verbally provide you with all necessary instructions as you progress through the training process, just as a real AED would. The only difference is that there is no actual shock, but rather, a simulated one. These are truly great devices that give trainees all-important hands-on experience. In closing, I am very glad to have come across this set. I was able to brush up on my AED knowledge, and I was very glad to have had the opportunity to do so. This set is perfect for anyone looking to train several people at once. Everything is very well-made, and will certainly last a very long time. I would highly recommend this set, as well as this brand.
