it was ok
bought this last year for my English traditional xmas fruit cake and it was excellent. This year i bought the same thing and wasn't as yellow in color as it should be and the almond taste wasn't there, used it anyway

Wow! I know Marzipan as I grew up with this in Europe. Glad I found Mandelin
The issue I have with most Marizipan from the USA is that is is incredibly sweet. Too much sugar. I was skeptical when I decided to order Mandelin Marzipan. So far the best in the USA and very close in taste to European marizipan. A little less sugar could be better, but "oh boy" so much better than any other marzipan I have tasted that is made in the USA. My hat off to you Mandelin.

I used this product to make candy for christmas. By itself, it wasnt quite what I was looking for. I mixed it with a box of almond paste and a few drops of almond oil flavoring. Then it was perfection.

Christmas cake
I needed some good marzipan for my Christmas traditional fruit cake. This is some of the best I've ever tasted. There was no chemical after taste, just an almond, slightly citrussy taste. Beautiful.

item was open and dirty. I don't recommend it. This item was intended for use in a layered dessert. I need to find another source.
