This was fun but seemed kind of lightweight for the subject matter. But, what does it matter: Anthony Hopkins, Jeffrey Dean Morgan (love his voice), Abbie Cornish and Colin Farrell--how can I not like a cast made up of these actors? I've never seen a psychic-based movie presented so straightforward and matter-of-factly. It kind of takes the 'serious' out of it. Once I realized what was going on, I saw there were no misteps. Everything was going to work out ... the way it was 'seen.' I'm trying not to ruin it; I can't be anymore specific without giving away too much.I think it actually deserves 3 stars but am giving it 4 because of the stellar cast. Also, I loved the bloodhound.

I liked this and will read more by this author.

Great cast, good writing, well acted. The right amount of thrills, and suspense

This is one of the better movies I have seen lately. Hopkins is his usual fantastic self. The plot and story are connected and on point from beginning to end. Overall, this one is worth watching.

What a movie!! Anthony Hopkins plays a psychic doctor helping an FBI agent hunt for a serial killer, who also happens to be psychic. I wish this movie would’ve gotten the recognition it deserved especially after having a fantastic cast to a suspenseful, mysterious, and intriguing screenplay. This movie stayed with me for days after I watched it and ended up re-watching it a week later. Of course, I noticed all kinds of things I missed the first go around. I highly recommend this movie…Just did a quick IMDB search and a couple of interesting fun facts came up: 1) this was originally presented as a follow up to 1995’s Se7en but the directed nixed the idea and was then produced as a stand alone movie, 2) the movie was introduced via streaming instead of a theater release bc WB sold it to Relativity Media who then went bankrupt before being picked up by Lionsgate a few years later.

This is a great movie. Astounding ending. As always Anthony Hopkins delivers an extraordinary performance.

With this group of actors and such a great plot, you know it has to be good! Colin Farrell,the great Anthony Hopkins, Jeffdey Dean Morgan and Abbie Cornish worked together to make theircharacters come to life. Suspense with a twist. They have to find a brilliant seriel killer, but it wont be easy!

Anthony Hopkins. - what an amazing actor he is and has been for many many years This is the sort of part he plays so well. He brings his experience with him and he has a lovely Welsh face which brings calmness and power to this unusual character . He has such quality that he brings the standard of the whole piece up to a very high level. Especially rich for those of us who live in south Wales. Richard Burton, Anthony Hopkins, Michael Sheen all from the same area just along the road but with the talent and skill to entertain the whole world. This film is excellent - an extraordinary idea made into a story that has been extremely well told. Enjoy.

Writers Sean Bailey and Ted Griffin do a pretty good job here, and Brazilian Director Afonso Poyat has kept the actors on their toes and the filming very tight AND taut. Joe Merriweather (greatly underrated Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his FBI partner played by Abbie Cornish are investigating a serial killers crimes when Joe seeks help from Dr.John Clancy, an old friend and a criminal analyst with a perceptive mind AND the ability to 'see things in the future'. His input is invaluable to the investigation but he believes he has met more than his match pitting himself against Charles Ambrose (Colin Farrell). It was nice to see Farrell play AGAINST type as he is invariably cast as the 'goodie' in most of his films. Good story, interesting and for the most part holds your attention. Has several unexpected 'twists' AND shows Clancy to be something of a hypocrite. Enjoy.

Anthony Hopkins can keep you guessing for hours in his movies that show so much suspense and send chills up your spine Fabulous acting with this storyline and cast that I rated this an A grade plus for so much mystery and who is going to survive. Veteran F.B.I. agents enlist the help of a reclusive retired analyst to help solve some murders. Now some visions come to light but there is more to this that you can imagine so I will leave you there as not to spoil a marvellous show. The exceptional intuitive powers of the Doctors is no match off the Killer. Pick up the munchies and movie relax on the lounge put your feet up, watch a fantastic and full on entertaining movie at home. Enjoy!

An interesting twist on the mysterious serial killer trope.Psychics and unbelievers, hidden depths and in your face action, most definitely sympathy for the devil. Messers Hopkins and Farrell are locked in a supernatural battle of wits and mental power that might need a second viewing to fully appreciate.Whether a fan of either, you will be enthralled by both. Recommended.
