Perfect replacement for my Bruan Series 7 shaver's Clean and Charge base
I've had a Braun Series 7 shaver for many years. Actually had to replace the shaver 2 years ago, but didn't need the full system since the Clean and Charge base was working fine then. Well it finally gave up the ghost, so only need to replace the base. Thats what this is, and it works just fine out of the box. Appears to be brand new. As stated this does NOT come with the power cord or cleaning cartridge, its just the base, and all that was needed for me. Shaver is now cleaner than it has been is some time (the old base has been having issues for awhile) so this is really nice.

The Unit Does The Job!
After 15 years of constant use my old cleaner unit for the Series 7 shaver died. The new Braun Pulsonic Clean & Renew Base Unit is perfect for the Series 7 Shaver! Just a reminder: Save the electric cord from your old refill unit since the new one does not come with an electric cord. I'm very happy with this unit!

Don't buy from Lifestyle by Focus!!!! You have been warned!
Lifestyle by Focus is purportedly selling new Clean and Renew bases. Here's the problem - they don't work!!! These things have been out of production for quite a while so I don't know from what junkyard they are getting them from, but you will get a DOA unit for sure. Nothing works - not the charging, not the cleaning.Unless you like running to the UPS store to return this piece of trash don't buy it!!!! I wasted my time. Don't waste yours.

The perfect addition to your shaver
I own two of the braun shavers and decided to try the cleaner/charger unit. Initially, I thought it was more of a gimmic but what is life without a little experimentation.After using it for a week, I bought the second one for my other location.After each shave, you place your shaver into the cleaner/charger, press the on button, and walk away. It removes all of the hair stubble in your shaver and cleans the heads in an alcohol solution. The liquid solution comes in small "cassettes" and appears to last a month of using it every day.I have not had to open my shaver and brush hair out of the blades and head unit since I bought these cleaners. And every day, my shaver smells clean from the alcohol solution when I go to use it.Plus, my shaver stays charged now and I haven't run out of a charge since I switched to these cleaner/charger units.A great purchase. I'm very happy.
