I purchased the Autel MP808BT analyzer because I needed a unit that provided a wide range of diagnostic and monitoring functions for a range of vehicles that I own. This analyzer has all the functions that I needed, and More! It provides very extensive testing and reporting of faults and codes, including manufacturer-specific codes and diagnostics. It also allows me to monitor sensors such as transmission fluid temperature, which is important when changing the transmission fluid and filling it to the proper level (at a specified temperature). It also collects and displays live test data, which is helpful for isolating problems that occur while driving the vehicle.The unit is very well made, and comes with an OBDII connector that links to the main unit via Bluetooth, so I am not restricted by a cable length when using the unit while moving around outside the vehicle.I received excellent support from the Autel Store both during the purchase process as well as after the purchase. They are quick to respond to any inquiries I had about setting up and operating the unit.

This scanner works very well, I am a professional auto tech of almost 40 years. I like this better than my snap on scanner. Snap on wants almost 800 dollars a year to update there scanner. This scanner was 800 with 2 years of free updates, and when I have to pay for autel updates they are only 350 a year. My only gripe if you want to call it that is the autel seems to take a while to boot up. Other than that works great for everything I need it to do.

I have worked in local garages for over 25years. I have used snap on and matco diagnostic scanners for years. This scan tool has done everything the high end scanners do at a fraction of the price. I am very impressed with the Autel brand.

I purchased this particular scanner as it was advertised as having the capability of programming modules for the make/model of my car. My particular need was to code the fuel injectors on my 2011 Mercedes CL550. Once connected, a message appeared saying the car is not supported. This despite the fact it does support the S550, essentially the same car. I manually selected the S550 model and it allowed me to enter injector codes, yet it did not actually program them and the injector codes were unchanged. This is the exact same behavior as a $200 scanner I returned to order this scanner. I've reached out multiple times via email/phone and the response is that the engineers would review and get back to me. It's been several days now with no response. I will be returning this scanner.

So far so good I've been using my scanner for a few months now and I've been very please with the functionality and especially how fast it loads the content. Also I'd like to say the customer service has been exceptional as well, they've reached out just to see how they're product is serving my needs. Definitely recommend.

This scanner cannot relearn Crankshaft Sensor, cannot reprogram BCM, cannot reprogram ECM, I’ll try a different brand, cause I ain’t happy

I bought this after returning a LAUNCH scanner that was not good at all. This one was what I wanted. A nice durable build, responsive, quality screen. It has already been used a few times and has not disappointed. I was able to recently diagnose an emission problem within minutes through active testing. Great unit for the price!

The scan tool has a ton of features. I am glad I got the BlueTooth version, not having a cable to the diagnostic connector makes it a lot easier to use. The Autel interface itself is not bad, some of update menus and secondary screens can be a bit confusing but with a little fooling around it is not hard to figure out.
