Good customer support
I have had this for a year almost to date. First summer it ran fine. The other day I was getting my attic ready to add more insulation and noticed the fan was not running and it was over 85 in the attic. I checked to make sure the solar panel was clean and it was. Then I checked the wiring and it all looked okay. After that i took the thermostat off and by passed it making sure that wasnt bad. The fan still didnt run. I remembered a review on here that said theirs would only start with a little push. I did that and it started. The thermostat worked fine. The customer support saved the 5 star rating by getting me a new motor very quick. If the problem comes back I would update review and knock off some rating for dependability and life of the motors. I would still recommend this product as they stand behind their product and made sure I got help without the run around. It does move a very good amount of air and will run without full sun on cloud days/ late into sunset, not 100 % of course. 5-8-17 running great!

Decent Product But High Price
The media could not be loaded. All Bent. Has to apply a lot of pressure to make it incline to 30 degrees or 45 degrees.***********Below was the review for the one i purchased few years back. What happened now ? ***************Decent Product , But high priceAbout The product ( 4 out of 5)The panel (5 out of 5).The panel is very good. It works on low light conditions and even when temperature is low.Connecting Wires ( 3 out of 5)The wires are not so great. If you have to climb to the roof to have it installed, get some good insulated copper wires. The connecting wires are 12 feet in length. So the panel and the fan can be utmost 9 feet apart. The Ventilator Fan (4 out of 5)The fan is aerodynamic and made from Aluminum. However it is flimsy and can easily crumble. So please put some supporting wood around it before mounting it.There are provisions provided for the same.Ease of Assembly (4 out of 5)The product as itself requires only 5 minutes to assemble. However mounting it on your house would need work.Overall i like this product.About the seller (4 out of 5)The unit was well packaged and arrived on time.

Good, but misleading advertising
The media could not be loaded. I live in the Mojave desert and, obviously, my attic gets really hot in the summer! I wanted a way to increase air flow through the attic and I guess I also fell for the company's claims of "drastically reduced cooling bills" (spoiler alert; this didn't turn out to be true). I was also looking for something that wouldn't require an electrician to set up.I installed the fan nearly a year ago, and it's still running flawlessly - so the product is made to last. I've attached a video of the fan operating so you can get an idea of the sound level from outside the house. You cannot hear the fan operating from inside the house... not even if you stand directly beneath it. I installed this fan on a gable exhaust vent and it took about 45 minutes (no cutting holes in the was siding required). When standing beneath it outside you can feel hot air blowing down on you.The day before I installed the fan my attic was 121 degrees at noon; the day after the install my attic was 118 degrees at noon (both days had nearly identical weather). I estimate the area of that part of my attic to be about 1,000 ft2 with a relatively low, sloping ceiling. Three degrees isn't that much heat dispersed, but that was about what I expected after reading multiple articles on solar attic fans (most articles I read said you'd need about 5,000 CFM per 1,000 ft2 of attic floor space to have noticeable results). So my plan is to get two more of these fans and place them at other gable outlets when time permits. The reason I have subtracted a star is because of the misleading advertising claiming that one of these fans will drastically reduce your energy bills. I did not notice any change in energy consumption.
