Does what its supposed to
I recently purchased a 7.25" .22 handgun from S&W (22A Sport). This case fits the gun when stored diagonally (imaging the barrel of the gun placed from top left corner to bottom right). I cannot get it to fit horizontally, which is fine for me. But I have a couple qualms with the design. The magazine holders built into the case do not snugly hold my .22 magazines. I have to put two into a single elastic loop so they don't roll around. The case is just nylon shell, no dense memory foam or frills. The lock holes on the zippers are nice, but they aren't any substitute for seriously securing your firearm. They are better than nothing though. Now, I purchased some master lock trigger-locks (from amazon) for my guns. I put one on my handgun (yeah, I know its overkill when you have a cable lock through the chamber/zine). But for what its worth, the trigger lock sticks out so much it makes one spot on both sides of the case stick out. Not a big deal, but just thought I'd let those with trigger guards know. This case works well with handguns with less than 7" barrels. Has an inner zipper compartment as well.

Well Made and Holds Quite a Bit
This a very well built case made from durable materials. I got it for my M&P Shield 9mm and it has plenty of room leftover for anything else you might want to toss in there. I like that the inside pocket has a zipper so that you don't accidentally open the main zipper and dump your gun on the ground. I am thinking of getting another one for my Ruger P89 which easily fits in there and it's a large full sized handgun.Considering the low price and quality construction it's hard to beat. You can put a small luggage lock on the main zipper to at least keep prying fingers from just unzipping it, but if you have kids this isn't a substitute for a locking metal gun case/safe. I have 7 clips for my Ruger and I can fit two inside the pouch along with the gun and then there are the five webs on the opposite inside flap. I wish it didn't have the large M&P logo, but that's not a big deal.

I bought the single and the double
The single has 5 magazine pouches, this pistol is supposed to go in the zipper enclosing (fits my walther ppks all the way to my 5" barrel 1911). I like to keep my 1911 stripping tool in it, some Allen keys maybe squeeze a 50 round box in there. I actually preffer this 1 gun 12$ bag to its same size 2 gun bag 20$, it offers more space for gadgets solely for that pistol, the double offers 3 mags on both sides and with 3 mag straps on each side (6 in all) closed by velcrow and not much else for any gadgets. the single will not leave you complaining. HOWEVER the double does come with a front zipper pocket as well as a mole web system which you get straps for to add pouches and such, but the straps will run you another 10$ and the cheapest molle pouche you can get is another 10.it may not be a single pistol gun safe but for a trip to the range, its all your gonna need.

M&P Shield 9mm in pancake holster wih four magazines is about it.
I use this for my M&P shield 9mm and four extra magazines. I keep it in a pancake holster that slips nicely into the zippered pocket and then the magazines in the four elastic holders on the opposite side. Also when fully unzipped can be used a rug at the range. I like to keep each pistol in its own range bag. Now you cant add all the eye and ear protection but you can have it ready to go in any bug out situation or emergency. I have a larger bag for carrying all the different ammo, hearing protection, eye protection, but this one stores a single gun and a few magazines nicely. Perfect for my needs though!

Not bad for the price.
For the price it's not bad. It really doesn't have a lot of padding, but it's enough. On one side theres a zippered side thats pretty large, will fit pretty much all double stack autos, up to maybe a 6" revolver. The other side has like elastic slots for your magazines, but that's about it. No zip pockets on the outside, but the outside zipper is lockable. All in all, does what it states for a good price.

Very nice small carry case.
This case is very nice quality, good outer padding and a zipped inner pocket for the pistol, plus several magazine or accessory holders on the opposite side. It fits the M&P 9mm shield fine, and I tried my Springfield XDM 9mm 4.25" barrel in there also (not together though) and it fits just fine, with over an inch of length spare, so the zipped pocket could take a full size 5in. length barrel semi-auto pistol too I'm sure. the zips are sturdy, handles are sewed in and feel sturdy too, overall I'm very pleased with this case. This will make a nice range case when I only want to take the Shield for practice. Very nice product.

Great bag!
Love this bag! I just bought an M&P 22 as my first gun and got thus bag to carry it in. It's a great size, nicely padded, with five slots to hold my magazines. It feels good to carry and looks great, too. Plus, I have purchased a small lock and can lock the zippers closed to keep the gun safe. I have looked for a similar bag for my husband's Sig, but can't find one (even at higher prices). If you are looking for a single gun carry bag for your M&P handgun, I recommend this one.

Quality
Yes it is made in China, but it is a great bag at a great price. I now own 3 of them and will be purchasing one more. Heavy duty canvas and zippers make this an excellent choice. In my gun cleaning kit I have a silicon cloth and I use that on the zippers so that they will always function as if they are brand new. I have bought 1 for my Dad and will give these out as Christmas gifts to those friends that own S&W weapons.
