Carb works with my John Deere JS36. The pre filter is thicker than the original, but seems to still work. We will see if it clogs up prematurely and restricts airflow too quickly. The main air filter seems to be nearly identical in style and makeup. There are a lot of extra gaskets that I didn’t need to use with the carb, my model doesn’t have the primer bulb, and I already had a new spark plug so I haven’t used those components.Mower used to be hard to start, now it starts on the first pull. Could have cleaned my old carb, but for the price, this was much easier. A quick 20 minute fix and I could mow again. Another reviewer mentioned idle speed being faster, but on my model it seems to be the same when comparing the two carbs.I cannot speak to the longevity of the components life, but they definitely worked on the first mow after installation.

I bought this tuneup kit hoping to fix a hard to start problem with my well used John Deere JS26 mower. I was doubtful of this productwhen I saw ‘Made in China’ in large letters on the box. I swapped out the carburetors only to find that the new one didn’t match thedesign of the old carb.. One of the mowers valve levers didn’t align correctly.

Fanatstic price,instead of a rebuild kit($10-$15) just replaced entire carb,came with new breather and air filter, spark plus, fuel line and filter with fuel shut if you desire. you cannot got wrong with this purchase < After installing started up and runs better than before.

I thought the price was cheap for a carb, and incredible given the fact that also included is air filters, spark plug, gas line, shut off valve, etc. I used the carb, gas line, air filters and spark plug. Mower started on the first pull and purred. If you need a carb, by this kit.

Couldn't believe all the components included for the price. Swapped out the old carb on my JS20 and was worried about this one fitting. No need to worry as it was a perfect fit! Replaced the air filter, spark plug and fuel line, old mower runs like new for a few bucks invested.
