Had to order these pads in an emergency, when I didn't have the car for the week to get over to the store and hadn't planned ahead well enough-- we have an extremely elderly cat, and while he prefers to use his box, he has achy hips and sometimes he has trouble hopping up into it, so having a pad near the box gives him someplace to go when he's not feeling well (or if I'm scooping the box and he just doesn't care to wait-- his aging kidneys means he has no patience sometimes)We have a usual type of pads that we buy for this purpose, but not being able to get to our usual store, I went with what I could find here, and of course the difference didn't really mean anything to him, but as his main caretaker, I was very pleased! Just as absorbent and leak-proof as the usual, and also did a better job absorbing more odor than many brands we've tried out.

I have a dieing cat, who has started having trouble using the litter box. I thought I would try these to help him out, but they are so thin I don't think they are that useful. I put 1 on his litter pad infront of the litter box, and I am happy to have the pad under it. My cat will pea on the pad and sometimes poop on it, but the bottom of the blue pad is damp when he is done. Tje pad plus the mat are saving my carpet, but this is a short term use only. If you are training a puppy, get something better.

We moved into a new home where the previous owners dog had marked it's territory. Despite having the carpets cleaned our dog still wanted to steak her claim.She knows this is her house now, but we just leave a pad down 24/7 just in case. We pick one up about over a week. All dry, and she usually chooses the pad over the carpet.

I purchased these pads for my senior Boston Terrier because he has incontinence issues. I put a pad in one of my bathrooms up against the bathtub and he pees on it when he is unable to hold it in. I’m impressed with the absorbency and odor control with these pads. They are well worth the money.

I've yet to find a 5 star pad. I've tried a few & so far these are the best of the bunch. Leakproof yes, but I wouldn't brag about absorbency... of any brand really.
