I received these flexible tripod for my new blink xt2 2 days ago. Putting on the blink was very easy. No problem there, but it did not end there. In order to get the best position for my blink I changed the location of my blink maybe 2, 3 times hence bending and unbending of the tripod legs followed. While I was wrapping the legs around a pole to get a sturdy fit, the rubber cover which surrounds the flexible leg broke and it is not waterproof now. Another problem is that it is too loose at the point where it is actually connected to my blink. It is so loose that a toddler could easily remove it.

These snap into the ring on the back of the camera. They work great but if you try to adjust the camera angle at all, they pop off the camera. Had one mounted to a railing on the deck and it worked for about a month and the camera popped off. Luckily, it fell on the deck and not down on to the rocks 1 story below. Can't trust this to hang on to your camera.

This thing doesn’t fit securely in the back of the Blink camera. I used one of the arms to kind of hold the camera up. It will not withstand a gust of wind. I should have listened to earlier reviewers.

After a incident in our neighbor hood, it was suggested by my Army grandson that I get one. I feel very safe in my community. We have wonderful neighbors that watch out for each other. Our dedicated police department cruise around the streets every night. I had no desire to have one.Then we found out that they caught the individual because the next street over had an outside camera. They captured the individual cutting through their property to get to our neighborhood. Due to the detective and police work of investigating, they found a homeowner who had an outside camera. BINGO, the individual was caught on camera.This prompted me to let my grandson install the outside cameras. He checked with his friend, who is a police officer in our town, and he suggested BLINK. "If" anything out of the ordinary happens, the police can look at my cameras. I live on a corner lot and the cameras are placed so to take in both streets of my lot. I highly recommend these cameras. I purchased this item for the flexibility it offers as a mount for my XT2. I was extremely disappointed with the product when one of the legs broke and separated from the mount on the day it was delivered. I would not recommend this to fellow Blink owners for its lack of durability.
