INDEPENDENT dual extruder print 2 object at once to double the speed
The media could not be loaded. The Tenlog TL-D3 not only can print 2 different filament or different colour but to print it independently to each other. You can scale up print speed by printing two of the same file at once or have a mirror image printed as per my spiral vase. The D3 PRO is half assembled and need medium DIY skill to put together, there is lots of installation video online which will show you how to put it together. It took me 45 mins to built the printer and then another half hour to learn how to print from it. All in all less than a couple of hours and I am printing my first duplicated printsPrinter is not dead silent but a low humming noise from the fans, definitely better than the 1st gen 3D printer. The prints so far is very good and I have better result with custom stl files than the test files from Tenlog. I find Cura 4.4 work without modification with the D3 PRO and the later version software requires update with custom printer profile which is out of my depth at the moment. There are cheaper dual colour/extruder 3D printer out there but this is the cheapest INDEPENDENT dual extruder 3D printer I can find which you can print 2 object at once, there are modification to make it 4 heads on the internet which I will definitely check out as I want to scale up Prototype samples

Easy to set up, easy to use
The media could not be loaded. Although me and my son are newbies to 3d printing, we have been investigating it for some time. One thing I wanted was a printer that I didn't need to be changing the filament on when printing a dual colour model. This solved that problem and linked with the ability to duplicate print, it pretty much ticked the two big boxes. You will see on the video I've done, just how easy it was to assemble and using the files from the manufacturers website along with the setup files that came with it, we are off and running....If you don't watch all of the review video, there is a part where I explain a problem I was having with the prints coming off the heat bed, this was soon solved by increasing the temperature of the bed.All in all, we are a few weeks into this now and have found some excellent files that we have printed, my favourite was the attachment to the camera strap that lets me attach the lens cover to it so I don't lose it. This is pleasure to use, relatively quite to say the fans are running and a touchscreen that works smoothly and allows good interaction. Perfect

Great IDEX Printer
My first venture into IDEX printingThis machine is incredible. Setup took less then an hour, following the video tutorialI particularly like the dual INDEPENDANT Z motors, which make the X axis perfectly level all the timeAligning the extruders is a breeze, far better than any of my other Dual Nozzle printersCalibrating the printer can be done "on the fly" whilst you are printing, by small adjustmentsIF you need bigger adjustments I suggest restarting the print or lots of small stepsPrints are of a decent quality out of the box. As with most printers, the more you learn from it, the better quality you get.The printer itself is near silent. Can only hear the fans when they kick in.Controlling the printer is a breeze with its decent size touch screenDuplicate and Mirror printing is all done from the machine, as long as you remember placings in slicersIF I had one complaint about this machine it would be that there is no nozzle brushes supplied, to wipe the excess filament, while the nozzle is waiting to print. These are purchased separate or can be printed

Great technology!
Having vast experience from single extruder 3D printers, I was excited to get this dual extruder printer as this would enable much more creativity with multiple colours and materials. This was easy to assemble, however, I was left over with 4 washers which were not explained within the instructions. Washers are used for the main gantry bolts...no major issue though. The printer is solidly built and the interface is intuitive. It produces great prints straight away with minimal changes needed. Mirror mode works well, as you can see from my pics of the purge buckets I printed. Is able to handle carbon fibre PET with no issues. I have yet to try dual colour, but I can't see any issues arising from this from reading others experiences. The filament included seemed slightly brittle as when left on the printer, it would break, however, is still printable!A definite buy for the experienced of us, perhaps not for someone just starting out!

Ok for price but disappointing
Good for the price but glass bed was warped and disappointed that it is only running marlin v1 so cannot add bed levelling or manual mesh. A nozzle heater driver transistor blew short not long after I started using it, temperature just kept rising with no cut out until I turned it off. Support very slow and didn't even offer to replace the transistor that I had changed.Part cooling not great.

Brilliant Small Printer
I needed a small dual nozzle printer and with its 220x220 print surface the Hands On fitted perfectly. And once unpacked it was printing away merrily.Although the glass bed works as expected I found that parts could stick too well and getting them off could be challening. I solved that with a flexible metal plate - part number B08LVW8HYH - and that made the difference without sacrifiicing quality.Well done the folks at Tenlog for having designed a great product!
