These devices act as not only a center punch but also a punch to recess finishing nails nailheads. I already had one. I purchased these additional punches to give as Christmas gifts, as stocking stuffers.

This product is so much easier to use than a hammer and a set. I love the ease and precision that I get.

I got one for myself and my brother in law, who's remodeling his house. As soon as he opened it he started walking around and setting nails. Safe you say he loved it. I love it for the obvious purpose, but also for scoring Maris on where to drill, makes a very clean mark so there's no ambiguity.
