I pre-ordered this book in October 2020 and I am 3 chapters into the book while I write this. It gets directly to the point from page -1. no fluff..no fillers. Straight dive into Salesforce architecture from chapter 1.I have always been interested in Salesforce and believe to know enough about the technology but had a hard time organizing my knowledge and even validating my knowledge.The authors have organized the content really well in this book. I am sure there will be other books in the future but this one is ready to get me started with my Salesforce CTA journey.I will update this review if my opinion changes about the book as I finish my reading but so far this book is exactly what the doctor ordered.

Not too much in book reading but when I buy a book I was expecting a size of fonts to be apt, the language to be convenient to catch th concept and lot of diagrams to get better and quick understanding.The author has achieved 10/10 for this however not sure why Amazon UK does not have the pdf option when we buy hard copy strange

I rarely leave recommendations on amazon, but this book is absolutely worth your attention!Dipanker and Jim did a really great job summarizing different topics from broad architectural topics in one book. There is a lot of stuff in Salesforce documentation. A real job is to summarize it – I think the amount of material in this book would be around 1:1000 compare to the whole Salesforce documentation, but it gets to the point fast. The book is stated to target beginner-intermediate level of readers, but I’m sure it’ll be a real handbook also for experienced architects.I read it mostly by topics that I’m currently working with, it’s definitely worth having read it end to end.Special note for those preparing for the CTA Review Board: this book touches on EVERY point that you will be judged on during the actual exam. It also has nice Appendix section with the artifacts that are MUST HAVEs for your presentation. The book should not be the only source of your preparation, but it’d give you a very solid foundation, that should be polished with practical experience, preparation strategies and lots of mocks.And the best part is, that the guys donate most of the money to a charity. So, by purchasing the book, you not only obtain a piece of knowledge, crafted by the best Technical Architects in the field, but also will support the local charity.

Don't let the title fool you! This book is an essential item for ALL Salesforce professionals. It's written in straightforward language and is extremely well organized.
