Typically when a product boasts functionality like 2-in-1 (3-in-1, 4-in-1, etc) they don't mention that quality of each feature mentioned goes down (i.e NEVER run a modem as modem/router, you'll lose internet speed, bridge is the answer). BUT this does a great job on the beard washing function and an okay job on the facial wash function.PICTURE NOTE: Pictures were taken about an hour after use. I forget to use brush so the flakiness is observable around mustache.It's important to mention this is not the only solution to beard flakiness and general dryness. Many people seem to have this notion that if you shower with ONLY this stuff it will solve all your problems. The human body is a bit complex than that. If you incorporate this into a routine:1. Use a beard BRUSH to gently remove large flakes and sebum2. Use beard wash and rub gently3. Dry gently4. Apply your preferred facial lotion and or beard oil (CeraVe works best IMO, read the reviews for yourself)5. Enjoy your clean facial hair!This is the basic routine I have been using and hands down Woody's 2-in-1 works like a charm! Removes 92-100% of beard flakes (depends on the day) and leaves my hair feeling soft. IDK if the surfer silhouette is a marketing ploy or not, but I surf 1-2 a week and this stuff gets all that sticky saltwater out so I'd call that a win.Scent-wise I don't smell anything out of the ordinary. I get most of my good smell from the oil and lotion part of my routine anyway. The fact that you get two bottles for the under $20 is honestly a bonus if you're looking at oz-to-cost ratio for some of these beard washes. Would recommend to any fellow surfers out there rockin' a beard and to all who are looking for a new tool to add in their beard care routine!

Started using on my goatee (very course) and noticed the softing effect on the second day. I am very happy with the results so far. I would recommend this product.

Softens the beard and moisturizes the skin underneath really well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was it would be better with a hint of a nice, fresh smell to it, an added cologne type smell would make all the difference.

Woody's come out more like a lotion than a traditional beard oil. I have a thick and curly beard. I find Woody's is easier to apply than traditional beard oil, doesn't leave my skin feeling oily, and moisturizes my beard perfectly. The scent is apparently like a grapefruit, and this had me worried as I hate the smell and taste of grapefruit, but I think it has a nice light clean scent that fades quickly. I use it daily and sometimes skip using the beard balm as it does provide a light hold that helps with the stray hairs.

Absolutely my favorite for conditioning my beard. Have tried a few others but this one just like the shampoo leaves no heavy oily feeling. High recommended

This stuff brings back core memories from early 90s , hard to describe the smell but it is really really good. Best smelling hair product I’ve ever been around. It absorbs more than any other hair product also. My beard will eat up a lot of this . I am not sure if this can be used as a leave in? But washing it out definitely leaves hair best soft and smooth. Slightly expensive.

Ordering and shipping was good and fast. There is no scent to this product, so it won’t annoy you or be offensive. I’ll say that this product is a good lotion for sensitive skin. When I rub it and comb it into my beard, it stays greasy for a little bit but evenly dries. By lunchtime, my beard hair is back to being wirey and itchy. It may work for you, but it doesn’t do much for me.

My husband really likes this for his beard. It feels a little softer and adds a little shine.
