NVX QBUS8P 300W Peak (150W RMS) Amplified and Loaded 8" Ported Under Seat Quick Bass Universal Subwoofer System with Remote Bass Knob

This thing absolutely sounds for what it is. 35 years in car audio, and wanted to try one of those and my distributor was out and had a customer that used his hatchback for work and needed some bass and could not give up space, so it was either one of the small under seat or this. I use the under seat all the time and figured I would try one of these and man what a surprise! This sounds like an old school single 10 on a couple hundred watts. No joke! Gets very low and loud. Plays down into the mid 30s with authority. You will be shocked.

I like that I can get quality sub sound. This is not the Bang that the younger generation likes. It's not going to rattle your license plate but it will vibrate your mirrors. One point that I had to figure out on my own is that after initial install, the amp would not turn on at even at the lowest setting. I had to jump the 12volt power input to the REM input to get it to turn on. After that, I have not had any issues. Overall, it is a good buy for the money and very well built. The case is the Bulk of the weight. I will stand up for a long time.

Update: Still Very Happy With This And Have Had No Issues With This Little Sub What So Ever. Really Glad I Purchased!I Purchased (Not A Vine Product) And Installed Last Weekend. I Will Say if You Are Wanting To Add A Little Low End To Your System But Short On Room, It's Pretty Solid. If You Want Tons Of Bass, Like Most Will Tell You, This Probably Isn't For You. I Will Say I Wouldn't Crank The Bass Boost And Gain To The 11's, It May Have/Need A Break In Period But Doesn't Specify In The Manual. I Am Running It At Less Than 1/2 On The Gain And No Bass Boost At The Moment. For The Money I Am Pretty Impressed And Happy With It, I Will Do An Update In The Next Few Weeks.

Worked OK for about 6 months. One day it just quit, and the fuse popped. After replacing the fuse, it powers on but does not have any sound coming out. Getting any sort of support from the manufacturer has proven extremely difficult.They respond quickly thru Amazon, and direct you to contact them on their main site. At that point they ghost you.

I bought this not long ago after doing some research on a compact box for my truck. It work great for the first few weeks. I never really did anything crazy with it. After I felt like it “broke in” I finally played a song to test it out and it completely blew up. There’s parts broken off inside of it. Electrical shorts on the board and will blow the fuze for the sub and wiring harness. I bought a wiring harness off Amazon that they recommended and installed it correctly. I have had many subwoofers in the past and never seen anything like this.

Added this behind the seat of my single cab F150. It filled the sound nicely with the NVX 6.5” components I have. For an 8” sub, I am pleased with what it puts out. For the price, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.
