VRT is approximately 20% so only about 80% of your light goes through. I'm in WA where the only requirement is my lights are visible from 500ft away so I can get away with how dark this is on my 2022 Civic Hatch. Most go with the lighter variants as they're legal in more states and work better on non aftermarket or older lights for most vehicles. Always look up your state's law on tints for lights.
