Overly verbose, unclear who intended audience is.
Not worth wasting your time on this book. The content is insultingly verbose - feels like the author was trying to inflate the number of pages (add to it huge font, worthless rollouts). You really begin to get the sense that you threw your money away early on in the first few chapters. The formating errors and spelling issues make don't help either. After reading the first few chapters I was at a loss as to what I was reading. I also don't understand who the intended audience is. The book claims to be at an intermediate-advanced level, but wastes time discussing bookmarking gotchas (seriously?), spends pages discussing how to setup the interactive browser demo site instead of simply getting someone familiar with the dev/compile cycle, randomly throws in examples in React without much context - I could go on but I have wasted enough brain cells fighting through this mess. You are better served sticking with Svelte's online resources.
