Happy. Minor complaint is the trackpad cover
Its a good product. I normally wear a watch that will easily scratch the palm rest so i needed something to protect my new macbook air. The color match is near perfect. if you look very closely you can tell the texture is not exactly the same (understandable since you are comparing aluminum to paper/plastic) so it makes it look a little off, you honestly won't notice unless you are super picky. the material is nice and thick and it sticks well. my only complaint is the trackpad... its nowhere near the smoothness of leaving it bare but what do you expect? the cover surface is a bit rough, its almost like dragging your fingers across a sheet of paper. they stick a bit when dragging and i was having some trouble getting it to pick up some of my finger swipes. You could choose to just install the palm rest and leave the tracked cover off, but the palmrest cover is pretty thick to were it will leave a little edge on the perimeter of the trackpad that I found annoying. It took some getting used to but now I'm used to the feel of it and its working fine! I'd much rather sacrifice a little trackpad feel than have it ruined and need to be replaced.

Tap To Click Fail
First, let me say that I purchased this product to protect the palm rest area of my MBA, and really didn't care about the trackpad protection. My old macbook pro (pre-unibody) eventually showed signs of corrosion in the palm rest area and I really wanted to prevent ruining the finish of my MBA. The palm guard has a great fit and finish. I really enjoy the feel of it compared to the aluminum and my palms do not slide on the surface anymore giving it a more solid connection with my hands. The color matching is excellent and it blends extremely well. Fits with my incipio feather ultralight without issue. My only gripe is with the trackpad protector. I am a huge "tap to click" fan and enabling tap to click is the first thing i do with any mac laptop that i interact with. With the trackpad protector installed, tap to click does not work. Tracking worked fine and engaging the "button" of the trackpad was not hindered in any way. I just can't live without my tap to click. Upon discovery of this, the trackpad protector was removed immediately.5 stars for the palm rest protection1 star for trackpad functionI am very happy with this product, but the trackpad protector is going in the trash.

Palm Guard is Awesome, but Mouse Guard Not So Much
Dude, I completely forgot that I even had this on my Macbook Air!!!! That's how awesome this is!!!! Oh my gosh. But yes, blends right in like butter. It feels fine, and totally looks fine. The reason why I took out 1 star though is because I did recall removing and throwing away the mouse guard. It actually desensitized my mouse way too much and made it completely useless. It was really frustrating that I couldn't use the cool swiping functions on the Macbook, or I would have to swipe REALLY roughly.Anyway, totally get it to guard your palms, but know that you've been warned about the mouse guard!

Great! Just as expected!
PalmGuard - MacBook Air 13 (99MO012209) I was looking for a product that would protect my new MBA from scratches, dings, wear and tear in the palm rest/trackpad area. After shopping around Amazon and looking at the different offerings, I decided on Moshi, as it seemed to be closest to the feel/color of the MBA and looked like it didn't affect the bottom of the MBA in terms of closing.Upon receiving the product, installation was simple and quick! The feel is slightly different from that of the MBA, it has more grip on both the palm rest area/trackpad. On the trackpad you can notice a greater difference, as the original MBA trackpad is smooth, however, I actually like the additional traction and texture of the trackpad protector. The Moshi logo is relatively unnoticeable, nearly blending in with the palmguard on the lower right hand of the product. So far no complaints, and exactly what I was hoping for! Hopefully this will last a long time!

My review has changed... track pad sensitivity was lost after a few weeks.
Overall, it's a great product. Easy to place and my track pad sensitivity hasn't changed! The one negative comment I have is that the texture is a little rougher than expected and therefore somewhat noisy as I slide my fingers across the track pad. I would also say the color is just SLIGHTLY darker looking than my macbook air, but it's hardly noticeable and doesn't really bother me at all. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and would get it it again.***EDIT: It has been a couple of weeks since I made this review and unfortunately, my opinion has changed. My trackpad suddenly lost sensitivity. I wasn't sure if it was the computer or this product, so I took the protective cover off and now no problems at all. I'm very disappointed. The reason I've still given it a two star rating is that I don't have any issues with the palm guard. Unfortunately, my main motivation buying this product was to protect the trackpad.

Fits perfectly. Matches the aluminum very, very well. Has the same feel as the aluminum surface. I did not install the trackpad for the simple fact that it is raised and leaves a small gap between the trackpad and the palmguard; I don't want dust to settle between and have the best sensitivity possible. The only thing I wish was that it was a full wrap around the keyboard. I'd like to protect that part of my macbook air too, but don't want to buy one of those hideous skins. Other than that, it's great and easy to install.

Only Okay, and Definitely Not Perfectly Sized
I really wanted to like this, but it was really only ok. The trackpad cover was a couple of millimeters off, so I have a gap on the bottom that looks really weird, and it's really thick and hinders my trackpad movements quite a bit. I knew it would a little bit, but my computer is a lot less responsive than it was before. This is really disappointing because while I want to keep my computer in good condition, I didn't want to sacrifice that much quality of use in order to do so.

some things are better with a rubber
Moshi Moshi Moshi can't you see? Somehow your PalmGuard just hypnotizes me and I just love its protective ways, guess thats why I always choose to pay.I've bought one of these for every Macbook I've ever had as if you wear a watch, bracelet or have a huge OCD complex about things looking less than perfect (shout outs to my man Stan "The Twitch" Smith) then you don't really have a choice but to invest. Funky as the smooth metal surface of the Mac is it is very easy to mark and having a scuffed up laptop just won't do when you've got some posing to do as you sip your mocha-frappa-latte with a twist amongst your pretentious peers (all of whom are either aspiring screen writers, writers or just vagabond drifters who dressed like hobos before distressed was even a look) in the local coffee emporium. In a blaze of triumph and glory Moshi heard our cries and descended from the skies, delicately placing this perfectly crafted and engineered piece of plastic into our laps and simultaneously giving our wallets quite a tap. Word on the street is the same heavenly representative was later spotted passed out at a karaoke bar after spending their ill gotten gains on fast living but hey, that's none of my business....But you know what is? Gushing about this product:Its a top notch piece of kit, it fits perfectly as its just a tiny bit smaller than the machine it goes onto and is easy to remove once you wish to sell your machine to reveal a pristine wrist area that looks like its seen no wrist action at all. Also the company are quite good as they will hook you up with a replacement should it become worn (as my other one on my MBP did) which is quite nice of them.Top tip of the day, to get a perfect fit simply do this:Take a razor blade (careful kiddies), and a few bits of tape. Line up the PalmGuard on the Mac where you would like it to be (don't remove the backing paper yet) then hand it over to Stan "The Twitch" Smith to make sure it really is perfect and tape it into place on the bottom edge of the machine (in the middle of the trackpad) and once again over the top of the trackpad near the keys. This will secure it in place so you can now peel the backing paper off one edge of the PalmGuard, cut the paper away with the blade and let it stick to the Mac in perfect position. Then remove the tape, lift up the other side of the sticker and repeat. Job done, one perfectly applied PalmGuard (I get paid each time I say that word. "What word?" I hear you say oh PalmGuardPalmGuardPalmGuard). The only downside I could really say about this whole product is the cover for the trackpad as its useless, its thick and makes the mouse lose all sensitivity and isn't really necessary in my opinion so I never fit it.Finally, this product is knocked off loads and loads. The fake ones have similar packaging, are all over Amazon and eBay and you can only really tell once you've got it in your hands as the plastic feels cheap, its a bit bigger than it should be so there is some overhang, there is no Moshi logo in the corner and there are numerous amusing spelling mistakes on the packaging. You can spot the snides online as they are a fair bit cheaper than the real thing hence why I always come back to Amazon to buy as its easy to get a refund should you receive a fake.

Works and protects well, but not perfect
I bought one of these Moshi Palmguards for my new 13 inch MacBook Air. I have used the Palmguard before on a 13 and 15 inch MacBook Pro.What do you get inside? The kit comes with a pre-cut piece to cover the MacBook Air's palm rest from the bottom edge up to just below where the keyboard starts. You're also supplied with a pre-cut trackpad cover which I recommend fitting, otherwise the recess left behind feels a little too deep. The colour matching Moshi have achieved is very impressive and on first glance is indiscernible from the aluminium Apple have used for the laptop. The Palmguard is ideal for people that like to keep their Macs looking pristine, whether that's for long term ownership or simply to resell again in the future. I wear a watch almost constantly and I managed to scratch both the watch and a previous MacBook Pro's palm rest.Fitting the Palmguard is simple and much easier than fitting a screen protector on an iPhone. Simply peel the backing off and line up the edges and away you go. A few air bubbles did form under mine, though I was able to gently ease these out using my fingers and thumbs. Any remaining bubbles and worked themselves out overnight. The trackpad cover is equally as easy to fit, though requires a little more care when lining it up. Texture-wise, it feels different to the previous Palmguards I have used, feeling smoother. Sadly, the cover does make the trackpad marginally less responsive with taps; scrolling and general movement is fine. The trackpad covers on my old MacBook Pros feel more sensitive in everyday use.The fit of the palmrest and trackpad cover are very good. They are precision cut and are a few hundredths of a millimetre smaller than the target area they protect, so they will not be accidentally peeled off with use. to peel it off, simply take a piece of sticky tape, apply to a corner and lift. The Palmguard has a few small issues but overall, I've yet to find a better product for protecting my Macs.

Perfect accessory for your Macbook Air.
Fits perfectly on my Apple Macbook Air (MD760B/B) 2014 model. The PalmGuard is very durable and extremely easy to fit. If you make a mistake and get the odd bubble, just peel it back and try again. The only difficult part is aligning the PalmGguard correctly, that took me a fair few attempts, however now that its on, its sits perfect with no bubbles. The colour match is also pretty much spot on, so if you want something that looks a little bit stealth, this is ideal. There is a tiny Moshi logo on the bottom right hand side of the PalmGuard, however its pretty discreet.I didn't pay full price for this, I bought the one which is marked as damaged packing from Amazon which was just under £5. I'd say for the full retail price this item is a bit steep.

Palmguard is great... Touchpad not that good
The PalmGuard works great.. feels good.. great protection from my hands... BUT there is also Touchpad cover included which is not as good as you might think... it feels same as the palmguard but moving your fingers around isnt as smooth as it was without it... also i was using tap to click.. where single tap on touchpad would count as click and two-finger tap would be as right click... none of it is working after aplying the touchpad cover... so I will be removing it and using just the PalmGuard... Since the TouchPad is gifht in the package I still give it 5 stars as the original item works great:)

Fantastic protection for my Macbook
After waiting years before finally treating myself to a Macbook I was looking for something to protect it. I absolutely love the PalmGuard. I have had it on my Macbook for a couple of weeks now and have almost forgotten it's there. It is a little thicker than I was expecting but it seems like it's really strong and great quality and the texture of it is very similar to the casing of the macbook. I think you do have to use both sections (the PalmGuard as well as the trackpad guard) for it to be comfortable as the trackpad would cause too much of a dip. I have found that the trackpad is less sensitive and you have to press down to click or be a little firmer with it, however, moving between pages and using the extra 'swipe' features seem unaffected. It was also VERY easy to apply. I have had some nightmares with applying screen protectors in the past but this was very simple and straightforward to stick on. I had a few air bubbles but managed to smooth them out pretty easily. I'd highly recommend it!
