Davidson's Tea Bulk, Russian Caravan, 16-Ounce Bag

I'm very fussy about tea. Being a connoisseur over 40 years. I started drinking tea when I was barely 13.So impressing me, at this point, is quite difficult.I fell in love with Nilgiri tea, when I lived in Japan.(late 90s early 2000s)A tea place in Shinagawa carried it, and it was soooo good.Id never seen it anywhere else previously.The nilgiri region of India is quite small, and now, multiple farms there, produce tea. Back then, not so much.But suddenly, this brand I found only in Shinagawa.... it was gone.They had no explanation.They just stopped carrying it..So, for the last 20 years, I've been on a quest, to find the nilgiri tea Tha tastes like the one I bought in Shinagawa all those years ago.None have come close.Some were even nasty tasting.. 😭Id all but given up..Soooo... I was perusing this company's very large inventory... And sure, they have it.I said, eh... Why not..It is exactly like the one from 20 years ago?No, but it's close, and it's delicious, regardless.Joy bliss, I have renewed hope for mankind!Yes, really...Tea is life..

Another great tea from Davidson's! A little more expensive than some of the ones that I have chosen so far, but still a good value for a quality tea. I would personally like a little more spice (cinnamon) added to the blend, but that's just a matter of my own personal taste. Not a legitimate reason to give it a lesser rating.It has a good amount of orange flavor, and a rich dark flavorful brew. I think that I will buy some small sized crushed Vietnamese bark and add it into the blend. Not powdered. Just to tweak it to my personal preference. I'd still buy this again! I love that the company is located in our own state. I'd love to see it one day!

This tea is not joke, брат. You want real Russian flavor, strong like babushka’s slap and warm like Lada in winter? Buy this. Whole crew drinks Davidson’s Russian Caravan like holy ritual — perfect for morning chifir, midday chifir, evening... you get it. Even auntie who drink only kompot said, “Mmm, good smoke, very bold.”Flavor? Smoky but not like firewood accident. Body? Thick like track pants on windy day. I bring one bag to cousin's wedding — now half village addicted. Don’t wait. Stockpile this like sugar during shortage. 10/10, would squat with thermos full and stare at clouds.

So far I have purchased the Irish Breakfast and the English Breakfast and I love both.I like that I can make the tea as strong or weak as I prefer and with a bit of honey it is great in the mornings.I have the Earl Grey for afternoons. :-)

This tea is good, fruity blend of black tea and spices. My usual is Bigelow’s Vanilla Chai. This one is much sweeter. It seems Davidson’s adds a flavoring which reminds me of maple syrup. It’s not subtle. Cloying and overpowering. In the scent and the flavor. If you’re into that, this tea’s for you.

I’ve been buying from Davidson‘s for a while, and I like their products. Delicious. It’s our go to for black tea everyone loves it. The flavor is always the same. It’s delicious. I do recommend this company as they have been good to me so far I’ve never had an issue with them or any of their products. Everything always comes in beautifully.

This is one of the best grocery items I’ve purchased in a while. The quality is consistently great, and it’s become a must-have in my kitchen. Whether I use it in recipes or enjoy it on its own, it always delivers in taste and freshness. The packaging is convenient, and it has a long shelf life, which is a big plus. Highly recommend adding this to your regular shopping list!

Really ok. Not awesome. Tastes good with milk. I get sick of it and then I have to drink my cheap tea bags, again. I like to switch up my teas. I like having loose tea as it all goes in the compost and no tea bags. When you go through to use your compost there are all those little oval labels from avocados and bananas (you didn't know you could eat that many) and tea bags that won't decompose.
