Use it with a J1772 EV (electric vehicle) charging station due to them being 240VAC. Works great. I seem to be the first to charge an RV / campervan via J1772 (electric vehicle) charging station. It's a little noisy during bulk charge if your battery bank is below about 50%. Recommend 2AWG even though a bit hard to fit in the small holes to avoid overheating of wires and a 90A breaker because it trips an 80A breaker. Main con: Terminal wire ports are too small for 2 AWG for good fit and too close together, but problems are a propensity with electronics. The positive terminal requires screw driver to tighten or loosen which can easily come in contact with a metal rivet ground causing short / spark. That is a dumb design.
