Excellent concept, quality and ease of use!
I'm pleased to have received this as a gift this past Christmas, as you can imagine I was eager to install it on one of my scoped rifles. I received the all-black version which was an excellent match for the military-style wooden stock of the rifle. The mounting system is ideal, and you have one of two well-thought options of securing the cheek rest to the stock. One method is to use the Velcro strap along with included 3M mounting tape, or for a more permanent attachment there are two screws included which fit through holes at the top of the plastic cheek rest. I've elected to use the first option minus the 3M tape, only until I have a chance to visit the range where I can test out the rifle with live ammunition. So far, I'm very impressed. It is an affordable and excellent concept that I haven't seen previously on the market. With the 1" cheek pad, I comfortably found myself looking spot-on through the lens of a scope. The interchangeable cheek pad system allows for a 5/8" pad to be installed within seconds, in my case for use with low-mount scopes/iron sights. This is definitely a product I'm going to recommend to friends and family, and will pick up a few more with time. Well done!

Not for everybody
There is nothing wrong with the product itself but because of the fixed height of the 2 rests neither may fit you in particular. I tried it but neither rest when combined with my stock brought me to the correct height.

Waste of money
It is too narrow for my muzzleloader. The strap to hold the riser to the gun also appears to be very cheap and flimsy. If I didn’t take so long to install the product, I would have returned it. Save your $ and purchase something that is better quality.

Fits Ruger 10/22 Synthetic Stock
I used the strap to temporarily mount the riser on my 10/22 and then used the included screws to more permanently attach it. The alignment with a scope sight can be grossly adjusted by changing out the top insert and then by slightly moving the riser back and forth on the sloped stock for fine adjustment. The black unit looks very good on the black stock and allows a very quick cheek weld. The cost was more than I would prefer but small production runs often result in higher unit cost. Glad I bought it.

Functional and looks acceptable on a hunting gun
I used this on an old Rem. 870 with a rifled cantilever-mount slug barrel and scope (Ohio only allows shotgun for deer) to improve the cheek weld. You may attach it with the included velcro strap, the included double sided tape, or the two included stainless steel screws. (Note: I recommend predrilling the holes for accurate alignment)This riser comes with two pads, I had to use the taller one for the 870. You can not combine the pads for extra height, they can only be used individually. It's a utilitarian product, just plastic and rubber. It won't win any beauty pageants, but for my 20yo well-used shotgun, it is fairly priced and perfectly functional. The plastic is thick and well ribbed for strength. I have no worries about it breaking. The pad inserts are fairly stiff rubber, but after firing a couple of boxes of 3" 12gauge slugs I felt no discomfort in my cheek, so apparently the "give" in the pads is fine even if they feel a bit hard. I did manage to tighten up my groups a bit, which I attribute to better consistency. The gun mounts much better and my eye aligns very well with the scope.Attached with screws it is solid, allowing for a nearly perfect sight picture on the factory wooden 870 stock with a Remington cantilever slug barrel and a 32mm scope. It slips a bit with the velcro strap on the 870 stock, so I went with screws as the wood on this gun is a bit beat up anyway from years of hunting. I can easily remove this riser and cover the holes with a shell holder sleeve when I switch the barrel to a choked shot tube for small game or birds..I wouldn't put this on a "pretty" rifle, but for a field gun it is just the thing if you need a riser. Good product.

Not a proper design to fit basic riflestocks!
This is kind of a gimmick, it doesn't give you a very comfortable cheek rest, and does not fit properly on ANY of my rifle stocks.I tried to fit it on my R-700 w/ HS precision (NO), on my R-700 w/ Bell & Carlson (NO), on my Savage-10 (NO). Finally I jam fitted it on my Savage mark-II 22LR rifle, and it is NOT comfortable, the cheek weld is like a rubber blade that digs into your face.It is very expensive for what you get and if you do decide to get it, do not be surprised if it doesn't properly fit your rifle stock.

Perfect for Savage Rascal
Perfect fit for a Savage Rascal youth stock. It's a perfect height for those who put a scope on their Rascal. This is for my 9yr old daughter. I bought the plain one without sticker designs and added my own. I used a sheet, not a roll, of duct tape. The roll is just a tad too skinny to cover the side. With the sheet I can fold it over the edges. I used the supplied double-sided tape to attach the rest.

Okay.
I would have liked a softer pad! However, I used it shooting shotgun slugs for deer season and the alternative is pretty painful. So it works good, sticks good, but could be a little softer for a "CHEEK PAD."
