Left to Vanish (An Adele Sharp Mystery—Book Eight) Paperback – May 20, 2021

I was captivated by the plot. It was suspenseful as well as intriguing. It was definitely a page turner and I look forward to the next book in this series.

This book takes on a whole new topic-religion. I love how Blake writes chapters from the killer’s point of view. A great read!

I enjoy the Adele Sharp character. Actually I love all the different series as i make my way through them all a few at a time.☺

Adele is mourning the loss of her mentor and it is imparing her abilities to do her job properly. The story is fast-paced, has lots of action, shows Adele's and her co-worker's feelings towards her and her capacity as a crime solver. She now is focused on solving the most difficult case of her life - finding the assassin of her mother and her mentor. She wants those she loves to be away from her, but will they? Will she be able to regroup her feelings and actions and find the culprit? I'm really looking forwardto reading the next book in the series. If you enjoy fast-paced stories, a bit of drama and an agent who seems to be like an ordinary but strong willed woman, you should not miss downloading this book!I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

At first I couldn’t fathom how broken and off Adele’s skills and her trusting her instincts had become but slowly, she started to trust herself little by little and followed the clues only she seems to see. I did love this book. It almost hurt though see her struggle. The ending made it better with a decision she makes with determination

This is the best book of the series that I have read so far. The characters are multifaceted and the story was well written. The mystery was almost secondary to the protagonist angst.Adele is dealing from the murder of her mentor, Robert and questions her instincts in her first case upon her return from bereavement leave.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I have read the previous books of course this o e had lots of twists and turns. Really enjoyed it.
