I have had my original Keurig filter assembly for a very long time and accidentally dropped on the floor causing the bottom piece to crack/break. So if you have to replace yours, beware, This filter is NOT by Keurig but is compatible. I had 2 main issues with this one. I had an extremely difficult time releasing the bottom piece that holds the filter. It is extremely stiff plastic making it almost impossible to push in the tabs that release the holder. Mind you, it seems to be made well but is just simply to stiff/not pliable. I had to use pliers to push/hold in the tabs then a screwdriver to force it off! Terrible!!! Keurig's is so much easier and made extremely well! Also, this holder does not fit snugly and has quite a bit of play in the entire apparatus when inserted. Bottom line, i spent a little more money and bought a Keurig brand filter holder from Amazon. It fits snugly and is easier to disassemble,,no tools needed!!!

So I haven’t had this piece for 2 years and I couldn’t figure out where the water filter went and found out I needed this piece to insert my water filter. The Keurig was given to me by a friend who never installed the piece so she never replaced her water filter. Every time I made my coffee it just didn’t taste right so I decided to get this piece and put a water filter in. Ever since I did that and descaled my Keurig my coffee has tasted amazing. I recommend for anyone who needs this piece should get it

I had the hardest time removing the base to insert the filter. Note that this is based on Keurig’s design. I’m not sure if the problem comes from the design, the manufacturing, or type of plastic used.I could barely get any water to flow into the machine once I installed the unit and then the pump died completely. I don’t think the unit itself would cause that. It may have been the genuine Keurig filter I used or the pump may have been about to go out anyway.

I bought this as a replacement for one that I broke when taking it out to change the carbon filter. While I think it is a little over priced for a piece of thin, molded acrylic plastic, everything for a Keurig is over priced and yet I continue to use it because I like it. It fits, works well and is a direct replacement. No worries.

I had to order this separately from the charcoal filter as my hubby said it was not needed but it was. so now the coffee taste better we have clean filters in it. it was easy to use just slide the filter in and drop it in the corner of the water catch and voila its done.

Pros:Not sure Bc it didn’t fit in my keurig 2.0Cons:It did not fit in my Keurig 2.0. It is toooo big!!!

Looks like the original equipment but fits a little loose in the water reservoir; seems adequate to the task and works with all water filter cartridges

Only used it once. It’s just like my other one for my keurig 2.0 which I’ve had fir 3-4 years. Disappointed that no filters came with it.
