Effective and durable humidifier
Effective dehumidifier for our entire basementfor years now. Multiple "auto" and manual modes work well. Suggest hooking up a drain hose or you need to empty reservoir every couple of days when humid. Bought a second dehumidifier for a bathroom with excellent results in reducing window moisture.

Got my 140 year old limestone basement to stable 44%
I was leary of buying a new humidifier because it seemed so small compared to heavy giant ones of our youth that lasted forever. But it was a good value and had good reviews. When it arrived I was concerned because it's very compact, but when I picked up the box it is actually pretty heavy. It has wheels so you can roll it around easily. I put it in my basement and am using the drain hose into my French drain system. I have a 140 year.old Victorian with a limestone foundation and concrete floors that is separated into basically four areas with two full height walls between. I placed the unit near the middle so it could pull from the middle room that seems to be the most humid causing white mold on soft goods that are stored there. After a few days the reading was still showing 77% humidity and I was afraid it wasn't pulling the moisture. It's been about a week now and I just went down and found the humidifier now reading 44%. And this is after 12" of snow melting during this period. So even though it took a little bit because of all that snow it did work as expected. It's a good little machine so far.

Great for campers
We run this year-round in our camper. It definitely does the job at making the RV more comfortable and less humid. We see it on the kitchen counter and allow it to drain until the sink.

Works Great; Still Unusable
Pros: Does a fine job of pulling water out of the air, and in operation it is very quiet. Even the tiny "Full" alert chime is polite.Cons: Who is this designed for? It's small enough to use as a tabletop device --- but why, then, the unbrakeable wheels? The unit's controls and readouts are on its top, so, on a table or countertop, they would be unreadable. Which they are already, for the most part, being dim and ill-positioned, and cryptic besides. Sometimes flashing, sometimes solid, sometimes mute entirely, these numerals and LEDs are impossible to figure out, and the printed instructions are no help in explaining what they are supposed to mean. The real design failure, though, is the collection bin. Here's something you can count on: with any attempt to empty this bin, YOU WILL SPILL IT. It is literally impossible to handle without spilling. Try removing the bin from the unit: there is no handle, no detente, no gripping surface, no place to insert a human finger. YOU WILL SPILL IT JUST TRYING TO DETACH IT FROM THE DEVICE. You will spill it again just trying to get it to the sink. Once the "Full" alert has gone off, the bin is, indeed, full --- to the brim. The fact that it has a lid is no help, as the lid is perforated. Having carried it to a sink to empty it, you will spill it again; there is no place on its rim that can serve as a pouring spout. With some experimentation, it is possible to find an angle and speed at which to empty it without the water pouring out in two places at once; you will sometimes fail to find this angle. You will get a crack at it, though, four to six times a day, minimum. There is a narrow clear access window on the back of the bin whose function can only be intended to reveal the water level inside; too bad as the water level inside is invisible. The unit's wheels only serve to make it try and scoot away from you as you are forced to use both hands to remove the bin or reinsert it.This is a prime example of a product that performs its function admirably, yet whose industrial design fails so completely as to render it unusable.

Excellent product!
Honestly, this was one of the best purchases we've made for our house. We were having some flooding in our basement and were afraid mold would grow so we got this dehumidifier and it has worked perfectly! Gets rid of all extra water in the air and is very quiet. Highly recommend!

It works!!!
This was recommended to me by my pest control guy. I recently bought a house and noticed a strong smell of moisture in the basement. Ever since having this dehumidifier, it’s changed my whole life ! No more musty air!
