These magazine holders are great for a number of reasons. The first is that they have higher sides. As a result, you can store more than just magazines, but you can actually store paper, arts and crafts, and other types of materials that you would like stored upright (like glue and paint bottles). They are sturdy, although if you wanted to store something that was really heavy you might need to reinforce with packing tape.These holders are also very easy to put together, I put all six together in probably five minutes tops. Its amazing that corrugated cardboard can be so strong.I also love the colors, they allow my home school classroom to still "pop" and have a fun look while also being extremely functional. I liked these so much I came back and ordered another set. I actually see myself ordering a couple more sets over the course of time as I organize and see exactly what my storage needs will be. I know the price seems a bit high for "cardboard", but once you get them you will realize they are well worth the money. A very neat idea and I wonder why I hadn't stumbled upon these sooner. I am amazed at how much better they work than the plastic magazine holders - but I do think the higher sides has a lot to do with the added stability.

I didn't know what to expect from this pack of Magazine holders, so I only ordered one pack. I am putting in an order for several more, because they are wonderful - colorful, sturdy, and easy to assemble. I am researching 8-10 family lines (by surname) at any one time, and these holders let me organize my books and magazines by family line. Finding what I need just got a whole lot easier; and they add some color to my white bookshelves. I would recommend them to teachers, researchers, and hobbyists, and anyone else who mumbles, "Now where did I put that (magazine, publication, journal, instruction booklet, user guide)?"

I ordered two packages of these magazine holders. The holders are well constructed, have nice colors to tell them apart, and I liked that they were narrower than most because I had some loose papers to contain and wider holders would let the loose pages slip down. One package arrived in good condition. The other package arrived damaged in such a way that every box was compromised. Rather than mess around with sending them back I fixed the torn sections with duct tape. Looks terrible but does the job. So my experience is you have a 50% chance of being totally satisfied, and a 50% chance of being disappointed.

I love these holders. I use them to help organize my student's work. My school uses the TEACH model which each student has their own color and these holders match the colors of my students perfectly. You do have to put them together however, I got each together pretty easily. Some of them the bottoms weren't as straight after my folding. So I just used clear packing tape and they stand just fine. Work the cheaper expense than getting the plastic version. My student's don't really handle them often so I am unsure how durable they would be against frequent student handling. But they seem to be very thick glossy cardboard which is pretty durable.

I purchased these to help organize my son's growing magazine collection. These are cardboard holders and not the strongest material, but in a recent cross-country move they all held up well in the moving boxes. They each assembled in 30 seconds, hold a fair number of magazines, and the bright primary colors are very appealing to my 8-year-old. Great value for the money.

I ordered these especially to hold an oversized magazine that is 10 inches wide and 12 inches high. These are the only holders ADVERTISED to be large enough for such a magazine.Imagine my disappointment when the product I received is EXACTLY 10 inches deep on the outside, not even the 10 1/4 as listed in the product description, and with the folded flaps front and back is well short of being able to hold my 10 inch magazines.While they are tall enough for my magazine, the description on the package claims the holders are 12 3/8, which is short of the product description which says these are 13 3/8 inches.Other than that, they are cardboard magazine holders and what I expected. My disappointment comes from differences in size between what was described and therefore ordered, and what I received. I'm sure they are fine as standard magazine holders.

I don't know that I've ever written a review before, and surprise--my first one is about these bankers boxes. That's because they far surpassed my expectations. For the price, I imagined they would be flimsy, or at least a bit wobbly, but I am pleased to say this is not the case. I only assembled them today (which took like 15 seconds per box) and they seem pretty sturdy, and stand up solid and straight when filled, without any supports. They add some much needed organization as well as some color to hold my supplies. Would recommend!
