Unbelievable! We’re doing nail trims without sedation!!
Wow! I’m so impressed! My three year-old German Shepherd mix has a very difficult time with nail trims and has to be sedated. And lately even the car ride to the vet is so stressful for her and me. I knew there had to be a better way and I’m so glad we found this hammock. We’ve now trimmed her nails at home twice with the help of this hammock, some CBD treats, and a couple lick mats filled with all her favorites. My husband is in charge of the treats while I trim. I sit off to the side and towards her back paws. I gently bend her paws back and clip that way so I’m away from her face and she has less visibility to what I’m doing. This hammock will save us thousands in vet bills. And has made nail trimming way less stressful for all of us.

The BEST!!!
I wish I would have bought this years ago! My baby hates to have her nails done and I used to have to take her to the vet, only then for 3 people to wrestle with her to just to trim her nails.. With this harness, it took us about 7 minutes from set up to take down our first time and she didn’t fight it! I can’t recommend this enough. It’s fabulous!!!

Not Perfect but, a game changer in our house
I wish I could have taken photos but, our first round was a bit of trial and error mixed with minor chaos. We have three dogs in our house and was able to use this on all of them. It was not a perfect fit for any of them but, got the job done. We have not been able to trim our dogs nails on our own for some time as none of our dogs are big fans and it has proven much easier and quicker to pay someone. However, this can be a lot of time and money with three dogs.Notes - we also purchased an inexpensive nail grinder on amazon. My husband was able to quickly clip nails and then I went behind and used the grinder for smoothing. With our dogs we placed a table underneath them. Got them on the table then placed them in the hammock. While I held the hammock up, my husband used ratchet straps to hook to the hammock and lift them up. We used an exposed floor joist in our basement as the support. With our dogs we found that they had to be lifted completely off the surface both front and back so that they could not make contact and push off. One of our dogs found a work around this by pushing off of my husband while clipping. Two of our dogs are large and wigglers, so it helped that I comforted them and gave them treats to keep them still (food worked as treats as all three of our dogs are very much food driven). Now for the dogs and fit. You want to make sure you have the hammock laid right to begin with. I laid it on the table before lifting the dogs onto the table so that I could put their feet in and lift up. Our oldest and largest boy is a chunky lab/hound mix weighing in at about 84lbs. I would have preferred a bit longer hammock for him but, it supported his weight just fine. As he wiggled around he ended up with the front of the hammock sliding down and pushing on him in a way that did not look very comfortable - luckily we were close to done. Our second is a german sheppard weighing in around 70lbs. The hammock fit him the best as he is lean - he was the most active boy and for this a slightly bigger hammock would have also been ideal. Lastly, we have a mini aussie, a chunky girl weighing in between 30-35lbs. The hammock was a little long as far as leg spacing but can bunch up to make work. Having the most available fabric around her, the size actually worked best to helo ensure that she did not escape or wiggle out.We were able to clip all three dogs nails in about thirty minutes with all the change outs and two adults. Yes I would definitely recommend this for those that need another option for trimming nails at home. I would definitely purchase this again and will be on the search for a larger size for more comfort for our guys.

An answered prayer for dogs anxious with nail trims
We have an 82lb pitbull/lab mix and after reading all the reviews singing this items praises for accomplishing a nail trimming with ease I decided why not and purchased it. Our dog despises anyone going near his paws what so ever (my fault unfortunately since cutting his quick on accident ONE TIME). We have tried the vet and meds. Next step would be sedating. This harness was an absolute answered prayer in allowing us so get his nails trimmed and grinded down after almost 5 years of futile attempts!! It feels a bit flimsy when you open it, but held him securely and I had no doubt he was safe. I got it done in less than 5 minutes. This is absolutely worth every penny if you have an anxious pup with nail time!

No clippers included?
I didn't get the clippers that are supposed to come with this product. 😡 but the material is good quality.

Really helps with dogs that hate their nails trimmed
My little Sheltie does not like his paws touched at all. It's a major chore, just to trim the hair on the end of the toes. Trimming the nails is impossible. Thought I'd give this a try, because there's no way I can take him to the groomer two or three times a month and that's how quickly the hair seems to grow over his nails and foot pads. I was surprised that my Sheltie didn't fight against using this. It actually seems to relax him. Really helps a lot to keep him trimmed on the foot pad and around the nails. Trimming the nails is much easier, and he doesn't seem all stressed out, as he can be when it comes to touching his nails .

Well worth the purchase
Worked great. I have two pit bulls who don’t like having their claws trimmed. This harness both immobilized them, and relaxed them. Both of them were nearly asleep by the time I was done. The best part is I didn’t have to struggle with them to clip their claws. I was able to take my time and do it really well. Typically I have to take them to a vet to have their claws done, which can be over $20 per dog. This one-time purchase will definitely save me those expenses.

Game changer!
My dog is terrible about having his nails cut. Lots of struggling, even biting and spraying the vet. This was my last resort before having the vet knock him out to trim his nails (I did not want to do that).Today we trimmed his nails using the hammock!!! It definitely took two people to manage him along with some mild sedatives. The first time he wriggled his way out. Luckily we caught him. The second time, we tightened the back strap extra hard and my friend held the two hanging straps tightly while holding him close to his body. Doing it that way, he pretty much gave up and didn’t fight me cutting his nails. It was tough to decide on size. My pup is long (dachshund mix) and 27 lb and in between the measurements of S and M. He probably would have done better with medium to reduce the chance of him wriggling out. Not sure how long the hanging straps will last since they feel a bit flimsy, but I’ll buy this again. Life saver!
