I loved the start of the book and enjoyed the rest

I have read several HRs by this writer. There have been hits and misses. I would have given Wicked in his Arms 10 stars. I loved My Darling Duke and Accidentally Comprising the Duke-both 5 star stories. I enjoyed Duchess by Day. I must say this book joins the disappointments. This is a story I describe as a slow train to nowhere. I was bored with the stories and the characters. Devlin Byrne isn’t in the same league as Rhys and Tobias. I didn’t dislike him but he certainly is not a candidate for book boyfriends. I am an obsessive reader. I have a cabinet of TBR books. When I reach 2/3 of a book and I’m struggling I stop. If you are looking for a page turner this will not be a book I could recommend.

Well written characters. Story was good. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
