These are great little wood boxes. They are very sturdy an a good lid, I am very happy with them.

When I received this box, I was disappointed to see that two of the four corner joints were not glued at all. Being the handy sort, I glued them myself rather than return it. The box works great for keeping spare change and other pocket items which is the reason I bought it. I have not decided whether or not I will apply any kind of finish to it since I learned that most wood finish products these days would double my investment in the box. It's reasonably attractive the way it is and I'm the only one who ever sees it, so I don't really care. If you are rough on your stuff, buy a sturdier box. This one is made of very thin material and would not hold up under rough use. However, I'm happy with my purchase.

We were looking for a small, lightweight box from which we could store and dispense ride wristbands for kids. The tyvek wristbands came in their own cardboard boxex, but these boxes often got ruined with repeated opening and closing plus they were not very weather resistant. This portable wooden box was a great solution. The wristbands fit inside, the lid stays in place in light wind, and our wristbands do not fly out.

I used it to make a custom designed box for my Automobile paperwork. It sanded nicely and stained well.
