This is a trusted brand and I while I wasn’t looking to spend a ton of money I wanted a quality accurate scale. This fit the bill for weighing small amounts of silver and gold (grams). Great deal on Amazon.

Great scale, weighs down to as little as 1 number after the decimal (0.1 decigram or 1/10 of a gram). 620 Gram max capacity. I would have preferred something smaller & portable, but I wasn’t happy with the accuracy or stability of the other manufacturers (not being able to lock in on a weight or being too jumpy).The body IS made of plastic. Runs on 3 AA batteries or can run on a DC adapter (not included). Includes a small instruction sheet and a plastic spacer that fits in between the body & the tray of the scale so that you can stack multiple “like” scales on top of each other. Mine didn’t include a calibration weight. For portability, a case & DC adapter are available from the manufacturer but are rather pricey!The quality is there! Doesn’t bounce around like lesser quality scales that are all over the place all the time.Also, in my area, this DOES NOT qualify as a commercial scale, for that, my city require I use a scale that weighs into the hundredths of a gram (0.01 grams)- which THIS scale does not. For the precision, quality & price (in that order) I’d rather have this scale than any of the smaller portable options available on Amazon- even though I would still have to purchase a case for portability.

I've only used it for a week so, so far so good. It's a very accurate scale, much better than those cheap $20 scales that are all over the place. I tried weighing 1/4 of a piece of printer paper and it was consistently accurate. It does not come with calibration weights so you might need to buy your own to get the best results. Out of the box the scale was already accurate though.

Make sure you calibrate every so often, it’s worth getting a nice set of weights as well, some scales come with one. Ohaus is by far the best brand of digital scale 👍👍

We use this to measure very specific amounts for my sons keto diet. It’s precise and super easy to use. And I’ve heard lasts longer than all other scales, doesn’t depreciate over time!
