This switch is an upgrade to my stock switch. It illuminates the same green as the rest of my dash. Glad I ordered it!

Works perfectly and fixed my grounding issue with fog lights not working correctly and flashing when they were turned off.The headlight switch works as a grounding switch, not a power switch. Way to test if yours is bad is remove fuse, unplug and test the ground wire (in my case it was the blue). Check for continuity between the two plugs to make sure you dont have a break in the wiring, usually common brake is the Y where the two wires branch off to their perspective lights. Also check continuity of positive wiring and also check between ground and positive for continuity to see if there is a short. There should be no continuity inbetween the positive and negative.If continuity is good then check from ground wire to vehicle ground while switch is off, if you get continuity switch is bad.

I bought this to replace my factory one, I was replacing the lights inside the factory one and destroyed it, this was a great fix and came with the lights inside and do work! Not same quality as factory but will for sure work!

Replaced this switch and now the fog lights work on my sons truck. When I looked at it with the dash bezel, I thought it would not work. After I removed bezel, I saw how it sat in the bezel and it worked great. Now my son has fog lamps working on his 1999 Dodge Dakota
