Loved the metris s faucets but...I bought 2 to replace my old faucets. During the installation of the first one, I found out the mounting nut was the wrong size!! The nut inside diameter was too big. Dang...I had to put electrical tape around the threads to mount the faucet. It worked but not super tight so the faucet is not secure. The 2nd faucet just arrived and the mounting nut fits. I tried to install the washer but the inside diameter is too small. Crap!! Hangrohe needs to improve on the Quality of the mounting nut set!!

Very nice faucet. I read the reviews stating that it gets water spots on the flat surface. I thought, how much water spotting can a bathroom sink faucet get? I've had this faucet for awhile now, and it's a great faucet, but it gets unholy water spots from just one use. You have to wipe it down every time you use it if you want it to look pristine. You may wish to find a faucet with a rounder spout.

Nothing to complain, we like the look of it and enjoy its place in our new bath room. One note, if you mind water spots, maybe not such a good faucet. Why? It's top is flat and when you close the faucet with your hands wet, you will get water on the top, which stays there... and you will get spots.For us, not an issue, we just like the style and its quality. It is one of many Hans Grohe faucets in our house and I can only recommend them!

Excellent product but way over priced

Looks great. Solidly built. IKEA like instructions, so you may have to check online for a detailed video. Would buy other products from Hansgrohe in future.

Solidly built. Handle operates very smoothly. Excellent contemporary design that matches well Hansgrohe Metris shower gear. The flat-top design does allow water to sit on top and dry into water spots.

Perfect, just as expected.
