DONT buy it. Just don’t.
This is WAY too much money for what you get. The handle is so small, and so plasticy contrary to what you see in the advertised photos. The handle will also leave a black residue on your hands. It’s extremely hard to get out of the scabbard and the blade is slightly bent. This is a 20 dollar sword at best, man. You can’t charge people any more than that for this 😂 just don’t even mess with this sword. I’m so disappointed

It's really cool for the money... But...
There are a couple issues that should be addressed. Fire those that claim it's sturdy it most certainly is NOT. This thing rattles like a screen door in a hurricane. I wouldn't swing it at the air because it feels like the blade may fly out. As far as the looks go like most Chinese knock offs they use the movie quality photo and send you a blank slate. You can see the lack of detail in photo #2.Now I'm fine with the look of the sword it's beautiful and for less than $50 it's a really good deal, for a piecee of art to hang on the wall. THIS IS NOT A SWORD. The issue I have is worth the deception, the sword looks fine plain, why would you doctor up the photo? It's bad business to deal in deception. Second it's marketed as a sword cosplay or not this is not sturdy enough to be swing with any type of force. But again for a $50 piece of wall art it's beautiful and worth the money as just that a wall hanger. Now if you buy this to swing at your friends or as a less than lethal larp weapon, and the bad or non existent heat treat causes the blades weight to snap that "rat tail" tang "holding the 42" steel blade" to the handle and it goes rogue projectile into a nerd dressed like an orc, don't say I didn't provide a thorough warning as to why THIS IS NOT A SWORD & WHY YOU SHOULDN'T USE IT LIKE ONE. Happy shopping.

Safety issue
It was delivered May 13th and it’s June 29th. My son has babies this sword and literally swung it and did not hit anything. The blade flew out and almost hit my daughter!!

Exactly as described. Blade is unsharpened, but sturdy enough for a nice display piece.
Blade has a nice shine to it, and the scabbard has a foam? lining that covers/protects the blade as it's sheathed. It's a bit wobbly if you move it up and down horizontally but its to be expected with a cheap material.Nonetheless, I didn't buy it to chop down my annoying neighbor so it's ok. Looks good and that's all I wanted. 10/10, would buy again and do plan to buy the rest of the set from the seller.side note; The leather on the scabbard is quite easy to move, so be careful as you unsheathe the sword so you don't move the leather out of place. Belt attached is cheap but for the price again, to be expected.

Good quality for the price you pay.
I’m no sword expert by any means but I am somewhat of a collector. Usually if you want a legit sword you have to pay around 300 or more and look for nothing but carbon steel. Anything stainless steel is a wall hanger. Now with that said. This is obviously a stainless steel blade and is mainly meant for cosplays or wall hanger. Yet I will say that despite this it is a cut above most wall hangers. The blade isn’t bent. The pomel is pretty secure and that’s saying something since most blades like this aren’t full tang. It’s also very light and wieldable. The tip is sharp also. Again I wouldn’t use this as a legit sword for any zombie apocalypse scenarios but for an amazing cosplay piece I would definitely recommend. Especially since it’s this cheap.I also recommend getting the Medieval Renaissance Ring Belt, Suede Pouch and Sword Frog 3 Piece Set. It matches very well with this sword.

Great size of adults.
Great sword for Ren fair or theatre. Not sharp which is great. Looks very good in person. Go ahead and rip off the cheap belt that comes with it tho it’s crap. The fittings on the sheath have some glue squeeze out and are a little loose. All in all I’m very happy.

Disappointed
First size is inaccurate. Arrived blemished and blade slightly crooked. I don't recommend this buyer as buyer has not contacted me. Disappointed in this product will be returning

For the money it is an excellent prop sword.
For the money it is an excellent looking prop sword, feels sturdy and sets snugly in the sheath. I bought it for a costume and hanging on a wall and it will serve that purpose well.
