Follow the instructions and you will not be disappointed with this very reasonably priced product. Works great and takes up a lot less space than a separate smoker.

This product works quite well. It does keep the temp of the grill more stable and provide for an even cook. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT for those who do not want to purchase an actual smoker.

IT WILL NEVER REPLACE A TRUE, DEDICATED SMOKER. DIRECTIONS SEEM TO ME VERY VAGUE. YOU JUST HAVE TO TRY DIFFERENT WAYS AND HOPE TO EVENTUALLY FIND THE METHOD THAT IS BEST FOR YOU.

Love this thing. Works just as advertised. Use it every week since I bought it. Not a gimmick. True smoky goodness

We liked the smokenator. It worked great and held a steady temperature. However, moving coals around with the skewer was difficult and cumbersome.

Having a hard time getting used to the Smokenator. Still trying to figure out when to add more charcoal. Having issues with ribs coming too wet and mushy.

Somewhat expensive, but worth every penny. Easy to use and instructions are well written. Don't get me wrong, I love slow and low cooking on a traditional smoker, but this product is really winning me over. I really like not having to mess with the coals and the temp as much, that is worth the cost in time and headaches right there.

This product has helped me to smoke the best brisket low and slow. Kept temperature of grill between 200-225 and did not have to add charcoal for over 6 hours. Water was slow to evaporate. Looking for smoking more and more.
