Double Horse 9100-06 Inner Shaft For Double Horse 9100 Helicopter

Well a few weeks have gone by since my first major repair--I'm referring to the "PCB" and the "Hollow Shaft". I've learned to cut the speed to zero immediately and avoid trees and roofs,. I also like to hand launch to avoid the ground effect. Most of the time I even have to copter come back to me and I grab to it before it ever touches the ground. Sometimes even being as careful as you can, out of the blue something will cause a crash. Maybe it's a gust of wind or the battery goes suddenly.The "Inner Shaft" is a pretty accurate and intricate part that needs some improvement in my opinion.It does not take much force to break one, especially looking at the sudden stop that occurs when a crash happens. I've replaced three of these already.I tried to repair some of the broken ones but it's nearly impossible to get the balance back and straightness required to make it work properly. The last new one, I wanted to try something that I had been thinking about and so I decided to coat it with super glue in certain areas where the others had been breaking, just to give it a little more strength.You have to be very careful and not get the glue on any of the pivots or screw holes.Where there are small radii(curves) is where the stress will occur. It won't affect the balance enough to notice. Anyway I'm testing this to see if it will help make it be stronger and last longer. So far no problems!The last time I broke the Inner Shaft I was down for a week until I got a new one. So I ordered aspare 9100-06 thru Amazon and within three days I had another.Overall this RC9100 is easy to repair,but needs beefing up in some areas. If you own a Double Horse 9100 you'll go through a few of these. I saw no difference between it and the one that I removed and have had no issues since installation. Great repair part!

Had broke my original inner shaft for the dh 9100 and I didn't realize it until the swashplate kept splitting in two each time I started it up. Works great and it hasn't broken....yet
