DOGs like this not just for CATs. Great to keep dog occupied.
I recommend that you get some kind of a tunnel for your dog. Now this one makes funny sounds when dog steps into it. Some dogs will be frightened of it. I am an experienced dog handler and you absolutely must get your pup used to different sounds and surfaces. This is an excellent way for a small dog only. FIRST get some small plastic empty water bottles, top off, and throw several in your dogs play area. These create a sound. Most dogs love this sound. Sometimes I leave on the cap and place sand in bottle for weight and sound. But monitor if your dog eats through the caps. Mine does not. Then introduce this tunnel. It is for cats but who cares.Introduce the tunnel empty and alone on the floor with toys around it. Watch and see if your dog interacts with it at all.Now place all of their toys in the center before you leave the dog for a prolonged time. They have to go inside and fish out stuff. Interest level is now up. they are in hunting mode.If dog is afraid of the tunnel (or do anyway) remove food or do not am feed, and place the dry kibble or rest morsels into the center of the tunnel. Stick around and monitor what your dog does. This is to help a skittish dog vengture into the silky tunnel with the strange texture and sound to hunter and retrieve food.I sometimes place treats in the center and then toys in all three tunnels to block the way. My Yorky goes for it.It is important to find way to keep your dogs mind active especially if you are gone for prolonged periods of time. I do not work but I still know that a bored Yorky is BIG trouble. So this is a nice basic toy. You can purchase bigger tunnels for bigger dogs. These are used in Agility Trials.

Cute and They Love It!
Update: we've had this for about 3 months now. Both cats play in it multiple times a day. It looks nearly brand new! The ball on it is looking a little rough but that's it. Both cats have all their claws and use them a LOT on this. I'm thinking of getting a second one because they love it so much. I really like the colors and patterns these come in. This blends in so well with my decor.I have a 2 year old cat that we got about five months ago and a 13 week old kitten that we got five days ago. I purchased this so that when they get used to each other they could play together. Both of them love to be under things and to run through paper bags/packing paper/etc. We've let both cats play in it (not both together because they're not fully integrated yet) and they love it! The hole in the center is a great feature; we call it "up periscope" and "down periscope" when they pop in and out. I can see that they will love playing in it together. The material is sturdy; I read a lot of reviews about tunnels and appreciated that others stated that this fabric was tough. It definitely seems like it, although it is new to my house so we'll see how it holds up. I loved that it came in different colors and patterns; my living room is tans/blues/greens/browns and I purchased the navy blue with white dots. It fits in perfectly! Overall, I'm very happy with this product.

Our cats like it
Our two cats (one kitten, one very old) both love this tunnel. They finally played together for the first time in it. The old cat will sometimes go in there to get away from the kitten, who starts pouncing on the outside, but other times the kitten will run through it at high speed. The kitten pouces on top of it and has been chewing on it, but so far I haven't noticed any damage from either action.Things to know:- The tunnels aren't very big, neither cat can sit up normally inside. But, neither are especially large breeds (the older cat was 10lbs at his max) and both cats like cozy spots.- Only one of the three tunnels has the crinkly material. We have an older tunnel that is straight and fully crinkly which both cats liked, so I was concerned that would be a problem. But, it also means that the cats can run all the way through without making noise.- It's very thin and lightweight. I got the white walls with the expectation that we could see if a cat was inside, and we can. Being lightweight means that it gets moved all over the place when it is being played with, and has been turned completely over a few times.- It's 3 short tunnels connected by fabric with nothing else keeping the tunnels in place. So, it can be in a Y shape, or a T-shape or anything in between. It also means that the center section can get collapsed easily and that the tunnels can get rotated easily (meaning the hanging ball isn't hanging). The cats don't mind, but I do end up repositioning it a lot.

Smaller than expected
A bit smaller than expected. All three of my cats enjoy it.
