Q: I received the item and upon unpackaging for the 1st I’m missing the Receiving sensor notification module and one of the mounting brackets??

Contact the seller. It only comes with one notification module and 2 detectors. This is an inexpensive option for security alerts. We have one in front and one in back. So, both alarms will sound the same, but works well.

Q: How loud is the alarm

It has silent mode, and sounds up to 105 dB.

Q: How often do the batteries need replaced? Roughly...

We installed these in December 2020, and have never had to replace batteries. We installed it to let us know when our mail came. But, it captures our front door, mailbox, carport door and car. We installed it in the upper, outer corner of the carport so the beam is like a triangle. It is wonderful and with daily use, it has never needed new batteries, it is a very easy set up too.
