Should be shared in Schools under Government and Civics . Since the Dept of Education has dumb down four generations of American Students.

Nice adaptation with some limitations
This gn did a good job of bringing the first novel to life in a tangible way without overwriting the imagination. There are a few sequences that seem to go by with a bit too much picture- only storytelling, but I really liked the pacing overall. The artwork is gritty and gives a great sense of atmosphere.

An amazing comic ebook that has opened my eyes
I love this format, zooming into panels and making reading comic books more than it's ever been.I breezed thru this amazing omnibus and now I'm wanting more. This particular form of the "silo saga" is interesting and I think leans a bit on having either read the books or watched the Apple TV show. There are spots in the graphic novel that made me recall the story bits between those points, things that let you feel the claustrophobic atmosphere of the silo. All in all well worth it. Enjoyed it immensely.

I got to the end of this graphic novel and ...
I got to the end of this graphic novel and thought I was maybe 20% of the way through. What seemed to be a minor and somewhat obvious plot point turned out to be the entire novel. I haven't read the actual book, but I'm assuming it is the same way, which explains why Wool is now a series. I'm assuming the Howey has spectacular prose, otherwise this idea would fall flat very quickly. But for $1.99 I shouldn't complain...single issue comic books cost more than that now, right?Regarding the artwork, I appreciated the stylistic choice of B&W with a starkly defined and limited palate. Just a personal thing, but I can't stand the way most comics are drawn, inked and colored now (why does a finger need a gradient and a lens flare?). This book's style reminded me of the old AVP graphic novels or Mike Mignola's work, which fit perfectly with the post-apocalyptic story; jagged edges and harsh lighting for harsh times and caustic personalities fatigued from lives underground.

Great movie!
Okay, it’s not a movie. Like so many limited series, this comic is written and drawn like they’re waiting to e-sign a Netflix adaptation toot-sweet. But this is that rarer comic that balances just enough storytelling to make a dystopian nightmare enjoyable for a reader. It’s worth it!

A Strong Visual Adaptation of a Dystopian Classic
Wool: A Graphic Novel* does a fantastic job of capturing the atmosphere and tension of the original novel. The artwork is impressive and brings the dystopian world to life in a visually engaging way. The storyline stays true to the core themes of isolation, survival, and societal control, making it an excellent adaptation for fans of the series. However, while the visual medium adds a lot, it also limits the depth of certain character developments and plot points that were more fleshed out in the original book. Despite this, the graphic novel is still a great read, especially for those who enjoyed the novel and want to experience it in a new format.

Loved it
The artwork and story are great. I can see why AppleTv picked it up as a great storyline and made a wonderful show out of it. Really good work.

Dark, brooding, and excellent
I loved Hugh Howey's WOOL and of course, pictured bits and pieces of it in my mind. What I didn't do, however, in spite of how specific he was in his storytelling, was assign that mental image as the permanent look of the book forever and ever. Of course, when Hugh hands over his vision to another artist, whether that person is making a graphic novel, TV series, or even movie, the look will be different than we expected and that's alright. In this case, I loved what the artist Jimmy Broxton did with Howey's source material, providing a scope for the vastness of how big the silo actually is, in spite of the claustrophobic conditions we sometimes attribute to the silos.I loved the first episode in the serial and am eagerly awaiting the next installment.
