I’m 70 years old and have purchased several grills in my lifetime and this grill is exceptionally well made with high grade materials and even for an ole fart like me very easy to assemble with the step by step instructions.I put it together last week and have cooked on it nearly every day.Having both a grill and griddle side by side is fantastic and heat distribution on both is excellent.I don’t miss not having a lid because I just cover food with a small dome, I bought an extra one to accommodate larger meats.The grates and heavy duty cast iron griddle are industrial grade and easy to clean.I can’t say enough good things about this grill. This is one of the best grills going, We have used it almost everyday since we purchases it. very easy to clean after is has cooled off, I bring the grills inside and wash them in the sink.

We were looking for a grill and griddle to use in an outdoor kitchen set up and this seemed to fit the bill perfectly. It went together easily and has functioned flawlessly. The only suggestion I might have is that since it is all open on top it is important to clean things up a bit before putting the cover on it. I may try to find a metal cover to place over the griddle portion and the grill side to help keep heat and smoke in while grilling and to protect the cover when storing.

My husband absolutely loves it and has been using it every chance he gets. The quality is great and cleans like a dream.

I purchased this Because it was within my budget and everything I wanted in a grill & griddle combo at least I thought. 2 major downsides to this grill & griddle combo.#1. Because the grill side has no grill lid to close you really can't get the grill up to higher temperatures to sear meat fast without overcooking the meat on the inside first. Sure you can buy a hand held lid cover that just covers your burgers to melt the cheese. I do not recommend this grill for cooking steaks, especially “Medium Well Steaks” and if its cold outside for get it, it won't cook steaks. We did have to buy a handheld stainless steel cover to melt the cheese on the burgers and to cook the steaks the way we like them.#2. The ceramic coated griddle is a complete joke. After 3 or 4 months, the ceramic coating is starting to flake and wear off in small pieces leaving the metal exposed to rust. No matter how much oil you use on this griddle, it is going to rust and nothing will stop it, not even with the grill cover or griddle mat.So instead of throwing this in the garbage and buying a black stone with a cast iron griddle and spending $500 We found a replacement griddle top on Amazon from another company that is made from Stainless Steel and fits this grill perfect Guaranteed not to rust. With having both a Blackstone griddle and a Weber grill, we were hoping this unit would be the best of both of those worlds. We were wrong. The grill side does not heat evenly. It is actually terrible. I have to move food all around while grilling just to have food cook at the same time. Also, by not having a grill lid, it means more propane use and longer cooking time. The griddle side isn't bad, but not a good quality as the Blackstone surface. It doesn't distribute the heat evenly. We are definitely disappointed in this grill/griddle. Although it looks nice, sleek and clean (we like the grill cover) we will be purchasing a new grill soon.
