I have used these often and enjoy all but the Chicken w gravy, it taste like Campbell's soup but not as good. They are hot, very hot when you pull them out after they have the added salt water. Excellent taste on a cold camping night. So easy to prepare too. I have the Heater Meals2 which comes with more items besides the entree, m&m, drink mix, dreid fruit, and a peanut butter w chocolate mixture which is pretty good for a quick energy boost. Oh and it comes with the needed salt water, salt&pepper,a spice mix, napkin, and a towelette. The drink mix is for ice tea or cherry drink, just add it to 8oz of water. They last well past the experation date. I highly recommend them, but they are expensive so only for emergency or camping trips. Also you have a lot of packaging to deal with after FYI.Enjoy(Not affiliated with them in anyway, just a meal eater.)JJ

I have used this brand of prepared meals while camping for an extended period, and was visiting Amazon to see if they were carried in the "Prime" program for my next trip.I see that at least one new (to me) flavor seems to have been added to an already good to great line-up, where the BBQ flavor is my favorite.If one follows the directions _precisely_, and that cannot be emphasized enough, I've found these to be one of the best not-cooked-yourself camp meals around.Each box contains everything required to heat the meal, including the water for the heater. This means that, unlike - say - MRE's, drinking water isn't wasted for a hot meal.I would advise heating these meals in a fairly well ventilated area as the heater does get a bit smelly.Oh, and the breakfasts are great, too.
