So happy I purchased this product, I ordered a second one. If you bake Sour Dough bread it works amazingly at the proofing stage. Well made you won’t be disappointed.

Great material

No damage to container when arrived. It is hard plastic and sturdy. I bought this container for proofing my bread dough. The lid fits very well keeping my bread dough moist and insulated allowing for a very good rise. It hand washes very well and air drys quickly. I do recommend this container, but use plastic containers sparingly. don’t put hot foods, or heat up your foods in any plastic containers., and don’t wash plastic food containers in the dishwasher. This particular container is made from polypropylene which does not contain BPA (according to the internet). But remember, even food grade plastics are made from chemicals, and are more dangerous to health when heated or scratched in any way (internet). I plan to purchase another one from this seller for when I’m making two different kinds of bread at the same time. They are also good for storing dry goods, and cold foods in the refrigerator.
