Junk! Does not work at all! Waste of money! Do not buy!

I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the other reviews, as there always those who demand thirty dollar quality from a five dollar item. Yes, it is not built like a Sherman Tank, and thank goodness for that, but it sure does belt out quite a blast. One need only be a little conscious of it's weakest link, that being the joint between horn and can. I'm using it to scare coyotes when they get too close to me when I'm out in the desert stargazing. No, really. That's true. And it's already done the job twice. Nice, too, that it works on air.

Oops, wait I cannot hear you. Complete parent fail, like when you forget your kids in a hot car or let them smoke. This does not produce a sound anything close to a horn or a sound any person would want to hear. It also broke right away and surprisingly not by me chopping it up with a machete or a stick of dynamite. I think I would prefer my kids to play with a machete or dynamite than this. It might go up a star or two if you have a adult enemy and gift this to their child. But if you are that crewel and evil just get it for yourself.

I bought this for my three year old niece. The horn looked and sounded fine, but wasn't very functional for a child. There is a reasonably strong spring in it that pushes out the handle that needs to over come along with generating enough pressure to get the full effect. Other kids ranging up to about 10 also had problems operation the device with any consistency. It also has some kind of locking mechanism that keeps the handle in (spring loaded) after every use that the kids had problems with. I construction of the air horn looked fine for adults but wan't going to last wrong with frustrated kids. When it did work the kids loved it and got big grins from the birthday girl.For the price everything was fine but I was disappointed that it made a terrible kids gift. As people continue to invite me to children parties I will continue to buy loudest, messiest, disruptive, and educational gifts I can find. Unfortunately, This air horn will not make a repeat.

I bought this for the 4th of July in order to make some noise during the holiday and the annual parade. Unfortunately it rained all day, but that didn't stop us from making tons of noise. This is great because unlike a typical air-horn, this is reusable and you can do small little blasts which aren't as annoying to those around you, or you can go full out and really annoy everyone around you if you want.Great little toy at this price.

Guess I should have read the dimensions on this and realized it was just a fraction of the size of the one I had an broke. Since it's so small it isn't loud and has too high a pitch to catch people's attention as the warning horn I need it to be. Keep looking.

This thing squeaks like a dog toy! I bought it for my sister as a gag gift for her birthday. To help her summon help while she’s laid up from surgery. Luckily I sent bells too. Because this does NOT work! She tried everything!

Can I get toot toot and a beep beep! This lil thing definitely did its job, I took this to sofi stadium for an event and not only did it work out my arm muscles but it had a powerful punch.
