Using this to snorkel and dive with a GoPro. Works really well and extends/retracts easily. It may feel light, but have had it over a year now and it is still in good shape.

This thing is not invisible! Does not fit the insta360 right. Since it has a 3 prong mount for GoPro affixed to the carbon fiber and not a native 1/4inch screw, it sucks for insta360. The reason being that the thread doesn’t align right with the camera and it forces you to have the twist lock on the front (or back) of the camera which is the side with the lenses. That means all your footage has this huge clamp in it. You can just not tighten it all the way to have it on the side where it should be, but that’s super janky and not safe. Terrible product not as advertised. If you have an insta360 save yourself the headache and get a stick that only has a 1/4 inch thread and no claw twist hanging onto it. Should have known since the official insta360 ones don’t have that.

Overall nice product, I like how far it extends. I used it for scuba diving, so my only problem was that it got stuck so I wasn’t able to fully extend it the 2nd part of my trip. I tried to rinse it with freshwater but didn’t always get a chance. When I got home it was really hard for me to fully extend it, so I got some WD 40 to help and it helped a little bit.

I accidently ran over my first one. Was pleased to find they were still available and at an even better price than what I purchased a few years ago.I use the heck out of this stick for two camera's, a GoPro and a SLR. The extension locks easily and securely every time. Does not bow when fully extended and comes with a ribbed rubber grip. Weigh's nothing and has a 1/4-20 female screw base on the bottom to add a wrist strap.You will like this one.6 STARSRichard
