My elderly mom loves lighting candles in church, due to her age and health she no longer able to to so, as frequently. I happened to come across these and thought what a great substitution. Not a fan of having her light candles at home, and having a tragedy occur. This is a safe option, to accommodate her religious beliefs. There is an option for have them turn on, until you shut them off or have them shut off automatically after hours. She lights it everyday for 4 hours while she prays to countless things and then 4 hours later it shuts off. Next day, she does it all over again! :) Runs on 2 AA batteries, she has been using them since May 2016 on the same batteries.

I wish the prayer on the back wasn’t just for lost items. I pray to St. Anthony all the time and the regular prayer filling in a request would of been nicer. I do like that it’s battery operated and on a timer. Looks like a real candle flickering. I am going to tape the regular prayer to the back...

I keep my candle burning 24/7 on my nightstand for over two years. Perfectly safe! Have given several as gifts. Battery life is very long!!
