A Piece of History
What can you say about a group that withstood the test of time? As a little girl I can remember hearing their hits from my fathers 8 track tape player. Songs like, I Just Don't Want To Be Lonely and Rolling Down A Mountainside. Each time I hear these songs, they transport me to a happier time, to a simpler time when everything was fun and music still had meaning. Here's to you Main Ingredient. i never knew these cat's was so tight like this, i just got this cd an it is tooo funky. i'm so glad i got this cd, this is worth coping if u dont have it in your collection get it!!!!!!

I loved it.
I've always loved those oldies. Of course the Main Ingredients were one of my favorite singing groups. The CD met my expections. Also where else can you buy these CD? You sure can not find them in stores.

Good compilation but... Some great hits are missing!
If you go crazy for 70s Soul music, this CD is a good beginning for you. However, if you would like to appreciate the excellency of The Main Ingredient as one of the best Soul groups of the 70s, try to get their "Euphrates River" album (actually available in an expensive Japanese edition.) If you are willing to pay the sticker price for it, I assure you won't be dissapointed!

Hier muss man sagen sehr guter schneller Funk und sehr guter langsamer Soul, der gefühlvoll rüber kommt! Einige der wenigen Bands, die ihr Handwerk auf diesem Gebiet verstehen.
